NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERHe’s a charming con man and she’s a dedicated FBI agent, and they’re about to drive each other crazy . . . again! The FBI had one demand when they secretly teamed up Special Agent Kate O’Hare with charming con man Nicolas Fox—bring down the world’s most-wanted and untouchable felons. This time it’s the brutal leader of a global drug-smuggling empire. The FBI doesn’t … drug-smuggling empire. The FBI doesn’t know what their target looks like, where he is, or how to find him, but Nick Fox has a few tricks up his sleeve to roust this particular Knipschildt chocolate–loving drug lord.
From the streets of Nashville to the back alleys of Lisbon, from the rooftops of Istanbul to the middle of the Thames, Nick and Kate chase their mark. When they find themselves pitted against a psychopathic bodyguard and a Portuguese enforcer who gets advice from a pickled head, they decide it’s time to enlist some special talent—talent like a machete-wielding Somali pirate, a self-absorbed actor, an Oscar-winning special effects artist, and Kate’s father Jake, a retired Special Forces operative. Together they could help make this Fox and O’Hare’s biggest win yet . . . if they survive.
Praise for The Job
“This suspense series continues to mix the humor from [Janet] Evanovich and [Lee] Goldberg’s books with the intricate cons seen in the best episodes of Mission: Impossible. The banter and thrills are nonstop, and readers will be anxious to see what happens next.”—Library Journal
“Even if you can’t always tell the good guys from the bad guys, there’s no doubt who’ll come out on top when the Fox is in the hen house.”—Kirkus Reviews

These two authors never fail to entertain. I delight in their wonderful quirky characters and how they insert them seamlessly into a really good action packed and complex plot. The bad guys are getting a little more sadistic and some of the secondary bad guys are starting to show up causing complications.
Books by Janet Evanovich are always entertaining, often laugh-out-loud funny.
Great series
Loved it.
Evanovich has created wonderful characters again!
I didn’t give this book 5 stars because of the ending. The authors had an opportunity here with the main characters and it feels like they ran out of words or ideas and just ended it. “Zoinks” – really? (Didn’t want to put too much into this review to avoid spoilers)
Fun story as expected from Janet Evanovich with great help from Lee Goldberg. Great collaboration for a nice read that is sure to keep you entertained the whole time with great characters.
I would like to thank Net Galley and Random House for the opportunity to read another fabulous Janet Evanovich novel, The Job.
I have never been disappointed with Janet Evanovich’s stories before and she did not fail to entertain me again. Her quirky and unique characters, along with the humorous writing, keep me in stitches as we work to solve the mystery. She does a fantastic job as bringing them to life through her words.
Kate believes Nick when he says he didn’t do it. I love them and, even though he is a fantastic specimen with a good boy/bad boy thing going on, she doesn’t jump right into bed with him. I like that there is no instalove, though sometimes I wonder how she resists. lol
Nick is hotter than a stolen Ferrari and just as fast, sleek and dangerous.
I love the lively banter and Janet Evanovich can pull it off extremely well. Her writing style makes the story flow smoothly and the reading easy. I eat up her books like the M&Ms I love so much.
I love the scene where Willie is driving a 797 F heavy equipment dump truck. Totally cracked me up. I couldn’t help but laugh as the words developed into a film unrolling in my mind.
The Job is a fabulous suspense/thriller adventure and I want more of Kate and Nick.
I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of The Job by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg.

My very first Janet Evanovich thriller. Reads like a heist/caper movie. A really good time.
I don’t know what I’m going to do when I run out of Fox and O’Hare books! I love this series. It’s adventurous, fun and a little sexy. It reminds me of The Saint and It Takes a Thief, but better! I would love to see this as a television series!
I so enjoy the pairing of Nick and our fabulous favorite agent -and her dad! This series is fun and fast-paced and I’ve enjoyed them all so far!
Quite a let down after all her other series. Not really funny, terrible development of characters, and overall plot just plain boring. Had so much hope for these as I so enjoyed her other series. Really not worth the time to read.
Top notch book. It was so engrossing; I felt as if I was present and along for the ride. This Fox/Ohare Series is fabulous—entertaining all the way. The group of steady characters are perfection. The laughs are more fun than a live comedy show. Thrilled there are more to read.
The entire Fox series is awesome. Great characters and crazy situations that somehow make sense in the end.
I love this series. Never know what’s going to happen and funny in parts.
It was just okay. There was some laughs and there was some butt kicking action and don’t forget the eye rolls for the cheeky characters but it was still just okay.
When someone starts framing Nick Fox for an international crime spree, FBI agent Kate O’Hare has to jump in to find the true villain. But answers just lead them to a con that is the most dangerous of their partnership.
As always, this book is fast paced and fun with humor to keep things light and danger to keep the pages turning. The characters are getting better, but they could still be stronger. Still, I had so much fun reading this book.
I have really enjoyed the Kate and Nicholas books by this author. The characters remind me of the TV show, “White Collar”, and are similarly funny, romantic, adventurous, and just a fun read. This is what I’d consider a classic beach read – don’t take it too seriously, and just have fun.
