Cache 72
72 hours. That’s what the note said. 72 hours and the girl would be dead. Jaxon held the paper in one hand and the severed finger in the other. It was not a hoax. A day with his new hobby had turned into something he hadn’t seen coming.
GeoCaching—a modern scavenger hunt—was now a race against time. A woman he had never met was praying he wouldn’t fail.
72 hours. Three days. A life hanging in the balance and the clock ticking. The killer’s game deadly. Jaxon Jennings, retired cop and private eye, knew the girl had only one chance…
And he was it.
Father Figure
The truth will set you free. What a crock.
Jaxon Jennings knows the lie in the cliché. He’s lived it his whole life. So when his partner witnesses the murder of their client’s wife, he isn’t surprised by the trail of deceit, corruption, drugs and rape underlying the façade of truth in his city.
Paid to uncover the real murderer, Jaxon finds himself immersed in a world of treachery and lies. Lies so deep they cut like knives.
And when his recently deceased father is somehow connected, he must find the man who pulls the strings behind the scenes. The man who has the answers to all the questions. The answers that send Jaxon over the edge. For he knows…
Only the dead are set free by the truth. And the truth will burden you for life.

I read the first two books in this and they were okay, nothing special. The third one was a whole different story. The sub-plot is about Jaxon’s employee, Ray, that we met in the Cache 72. And his hot romance. Ray and Detective Hawk are in full-on lust and we get to hear all about it. Personally, I don’t need to hear about him shaving her genitals, especially when it has nothing to do with the story. Did someone suggest he add romance and soft porn to sell books? Would have been different if it had impacted the story in any way, but it didn’t. Seriously, this man was a cop for ten years and he is acting like a teenager with his first crush.
Mr. Hale was doing okay, but has changed his genre. Won’t be reading any more of his books.
Not a bad read. The character development is interesting, plot is well conceived and keeps moving along. I enjoyed the three novels.
I love this series, I am on Damaged now, I read 1st thing I wake up, when I get home from work & before I go to sleep. Mr. Hale is my new favorite. I so hope there is more Jaxon Jennings books to be written.
Good read. Even with unethical police tactics you still root for Jaxon to get the job done.
I loved this boxed set and would recommend to everyone
Frozen Past was too drawn out for me. I enjoyed Cache 72 and Father Figure more.
Love the characters and the way they evolve. Lived in the area and easy to picture area and what is happening in the book.
Interesting throughout
Wow! Excellent read
Really enjoyed this series. Characters you love to hate and hate to love. Very different story lines. Jaxon always has a way of dealing. Both believable and unbelievable at times. Would recommend not to read before bed or you will never get to sleep. One of the series I stayed up until 4am to see what would happen.
Read the series. Great read. Enjoy !
Awesome
Interesting characters that you want to follow and then just as you start to like them….well you have to read the book.
Love this series! Intriguing mysteries!
This book is for young children. Maybe Book Bub could designate such books in the future. Or maybe you do and I have not noticed it.
The opening books in the Jaxon Jennings series gets you off to a roaring start, with changes that look promising for future books in the series. Jennings handles some personal situations in a tough first case, and the enters the world of geo caching with a deadline in the second. Jennings changes jobs a bit and shows us an exciting chapter to come. Lots of action involving lots of folks makes this series an easy read while also leaving you wanting more. Reminds you a bit of Jack Reacher. Looking forward to more.
The story kept my interest but at times seemed to provide to many details over frivolous things
Good storyline, but too much cursing for me.
Fun read
I read the first three in the Jaxon Jennings series and could not out then down. Very good page turned and the action never stops. This far, a great series and I look forward to reading more. Jaxon is a no bullshit kind of guy who doesn’t take no, for an answer.
Frozen Past is good, but not Father Figure
