Hours later the much-anticipated photos show corpses lined up along the dock and a bride covered in blood. 5 Star
The Istanbul Conspiracy (Code Raven Book 7) by Lynda Filler is a wonderfully written story that had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. I couldn’t put it down once I started reading. The twists and turns will keep you guessing. When a wedding goes terribly wrong and the unimaginable happens it leaves lots of questions unanswered. Was it random or planned? Why did some survive and some didn’t? Was it terrorism or political? Was it simply aimed at certain people? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read Book. I can’t wait to read more from this Author .
5 stars not enough!
I received an ARC and am also rereading with a KU edition of this book from the author. Well worth the 2nd read! Here are my thoughts:
Well, Ms. Filler really knows how to get my attention! (WHY isn’t there a 10 star rating?) Not only did I learn quite a bit from this story, I enjoyed the pretty thrilling ride along with the Raven group as they figured out (and, of course, took care of) those responsible for a terrible massacre. Was it terrorism? Was it political? Was it aimed at certain people? Why did some survive and some not? I love that Lynda Filler writes so succinctly about the lives of the ‘regular’ people in a setting, adds so much color to the descriptions of the area, and really takes you there, right with the action. Some of the things, about the religion, the politics, the refugee situation, we’ve read about in recent news, but she really fleshes it out from the perspective of someone who is actually living in the region. I think this one is her longest Code Raven book yet, and probably her best! Loved the ending; not necessarily a ‘cliff hanger’, but WILL, I’m sure, lead into the next Raven book! Well done!
This is not my first book in this series but it is my favorite yet so far. This author has written a well developed story that kept me turning pages. It is an engaging story that has twists and turns that you don’t want to miss. When a wedding goes bad and they all end up dead, it leaves questions if it was random or targeted. The characters are strong and make the story come alive. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happened to this wedding party.
