A little slow but love the area
The writing is very good except for the profanity. I quit reading it due to that. I, personally, don’t think it’s necessay. It detracts. I’ve never heard anyone say, “I wish that book/movie had profanity.” Interesting that it isn’t missed when it doesn’t exist.
Take a vacation to beautiful Con wall and live in an island castle. Lovely imagery and a romantic setting. A little predictable but, that’s okay for a reading getaway. I liked it.
Enjoyed this book very much. Loved the history, all of the characters except for a couple and the story was just good entertainment.
Good character development. Interesting plot with a few twists to capture interest.
Good
Picturesque and entertaining. Not much imagination but an enjoying quick read.
Normally like Ruth Saberton’s books but simply could not get into this one at all. The first 50 pages were like crawling thru mud backwards. I finally gave up and deleted it.
