A synchronized swimmer and the prince she meets in a supposedly empty house she’s tending to up the bluff…Can Noah and Zara stop arguing long enough to realize their feelings for each other might be romantic?Zara Reddy comes from a very traditional Indian family, but she’s chosen a different path than the generational restaurant. She performs in some of Getaway Bay’s biggest shows as an acrobat … shows as an acrobat and synchronized swimmer and takes other odd jobs—anything to stay below her mother’s “where’s your boyfriend?” radar.
When she lands a lucrative housesitting job in the biggest mansion on the bluffs above the beach, Zara thinks she’ll get some rest, relaxation, and plenty of sun for the summer. But when she walks in, she comes face-to-face with Noah Wales, a prince from a tiny island in the Mediterranean.
The house definitely isn’t empty. The man is positively scrumptious. Too bad he’s demanding, spoiled, and running from the paparazzi. Noah and Zara argue about who’ll be staying in the house, but in the end, they decide this could be a mutually beneficial arrangement. Zara can keep the press out of Noah’s hair while he works on repairing his reputation by volunteering at Your Tidal Forever on a celebrity wedding. And Zara gets the summer away from everything, just the way she wanted.
Can Noah and Zara fight their feelings for each other as easily as they trade jabs? Or will this summer shape up to be the one that provides the romance they’ve each always wanted?

Oh my. I’m a sucker for a royal romance and this one had me on the edge of my seat! I could never have guessed the direction it would go. Both heart stopping and heart racing! I could not put it down.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Sometimes you just need a cheesy romance!
This was great. She’s a synchronized swimmer trying to make enough money to support herself without having to work at the family restaurant.
He’s the second-son prince of a far off island nation.
She thinks her family has crazy rules and traditions. Oh boy, she ain’t seen nothing!
His family interference causes issues with their relationship.
But, of course it all ends happily. I love how that part came together.
Noah and Zara have everything going against them. Yet in spite of all that, they’re still utterly adorable together when they get their happy ever after. I’m not sure I fully connected with the characters and I know I wasn’t as invested in their connection to each other I like to be. But I loved seeing the power of the sibling bonds both have with their families. I also enjoyed experiencing the traditional Indian vibe from Zara’s family and seeing the “cost of celebrity” from Noah’s point of view.
A modern day fairytale where an Indian girl living in Getaway Bay meets a handsome Prince of Triguard. There are so many twist and turns in their romance that you lose yourself in the story as soon as you start reading.
This is the story of Zara and Noah who meet when she shows up to housesit, he is the son of the owner and no one knows he is there at the house. The story develops nicely and moves along at a good pace. The characters are well developed and the families are interesting. Would recommend this book, I received a free copy and am voluntarily leaving this review.
This is a 5-star clean read about a prince on the run from bad publicity and an Indian synchronize swimmer. The story takes place in Hawaii, where Zara has been hired to house sit. On her first day she discovers that she is not alone in the house. The main plot of this story revolves around 2 people who are from very different families trying to find common ground for a relationship. Well-written with an HEA ending.
Good clean romance.
Good, clean, short read from Elana Johnson! Noah and Zara both have family traditions and obligations that they respect but they want to live their own lives. Noah is hiding out running from bad publicity when he meets Zara. Zara is doing everything she can to keep from working in her family’s restaurant. When Noah is called home for family obligations and can’t get in touch with Zara he realizes that he loves her and that love is worth fighting for. Don’t miss this book in the Getaway Bay Brides and Beaches series.
An accidental meeting between two very different people. They have different cultures, different social standing, different work history, different roles in life. The attraction is strong, but major problems cause a rift in their relationship. I loved the book and also learned a lot about synchronized swimming! (I received an advance review copy from the author. The opinions in this review are my own.)
