While rooting around in the mysterious stone chambers of New England, historian Cameron Thorne and his fiancée Amanda Spencer-Gunn stumble upon a reinterpretation of the Biblical passage calling on Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. It is a revelation—long suppressed by the medieval Knights Templar—that threatens to destabilize the Middle East forever. It is also a secret Cam and Amanda want … nothing to do with.
Not that a rogue faction of puppeteering Freemasons gives a damn what Cam and Amanda want.
Based on actual historical artifacts, and illustrated.
Publishers Weekly says of the author, “BRODY DOES A TERRIFIC JOB OF WRAPPING HIS RESEARCH IN A FAST-PACED THRILL RIDE.”
This is a stand-alone novel with recurring characters. These books can be read in any order.
WARNING: Not recommended for readers with strong religious beliefs.

Fascinating how the story weaves into current events. Good storyline.
Made you think.
This book had some interesting ideas about how biblical stories and artifacts from history could connect. This may be challenging to read for people who dont like their faith questioned.
it was quite well written, but after i while i felt like i had already read something similar. Would have preferred to give it 3 and a half stars.
Could have been a better read of it wasn’t so long.
Good to start. Devolved into an anti-christian. anti-jewish soap box rant. Extremely disappointing. Wasted money.
Took a little time to get started, but ended up worth it.
great read if this is your area of interest
Thought provoking. Plausible alternative Jewish history. Very interesting Pre-Columbian archeology.
fantasy and contrary to biblical accounts. Undermining nationalism while promoting occultism
Thought provoking!
Really enjoyed this book. I read 10 times as many books as my husband. Only the best are delivered to my husband’s kindle. This one was shared.
The research presented in this story was all outcome predicated and not substantial. In simple words, they had a conclusion and drew speculative thoughts, interpretations, flawed research and a mix of true research to give it a flavor of plausibility to fit their desired conclusion. This is stupid and dangerous. Someone might believe this crap, because that’s exactly what this is. The story itself wasn’t all that bad, but it was unrealistic and somewhat predictable. At least the author can string sentences together into a cogent story, much better than some I’ve seen, which bumps it to a two star rating. I don’t recommend this story if you have a shaky understanding of scripture and its related history, and it begs the question: which is worse, being uninformed or misinformed? This will misinform.
Thought provoking.
the introduction warned Christians would have difficulty with subject matter. It was complicated in its reasoning. Was left with why didnt I take the warning. Did not like book
Hard to put down!
I’m sorry but the book did not grab me and I can’t recommend it
David Brody never fails to write a book that makes you THINK. He documents just about everything he writes about, and provides actual photos of things and places that are part of the story. If you have any hang-ups about organized religions, these books are NOT for you. He does question the Old Testament…if you have a problem with what REALLY happened versus what was written…these books are not for you. If you believe that “America” was discovered long before Columbus “discovered” America…these books are not for you. If you have an open mind for facts, PLEASE take the time to read these excellent novels, with excellent charcters, and FACTS versus FICTION.
Really enjoyed it
Food for thought about the Bible, the Torah, and the Koran!
