It was really cool to see so much development in the overall Kennedy Boys story. On the one hand, we got to see Faye and Kyler finally settle into their own romance, plus we got glimpses of issues that makes this book a bridge between the last couple’s story into the following ones. It’s like a whole book of deleted scenes we get to discover before delving into another Kennedy Boys romance! I received a complementary copy of this book and giving my honest review.
The Kennedy’s are taking Ireland by storm!! A fast paced novella with our favorite dysfunctional family!
Faye and Kyler are vacationing in Ireland before starting college. After three weeks by themselves, the rest of the family joins the vacation and the madhouse begins. This novella focuses on Faye and Kyler, but Ms. Davis gives us some glimpses into what is going on with the rest of the Kennedy Boys as well. Lots of action and drama plus some very hot scenes between our favorite couple who can’t keep their hands off each other. Can’t wait to see what happens in Kal’s story next.
Finally Faye gets to go back to her old home back in Ireland. The story is so sweet, and the love between Faye and Kyler is to die for!
This was the perfect “ending” to Faye and Kylers story! I loved the story <3
How does Siobhan feel my heat with so many emotions in one little novella?! My heart just loves this couple and loves this family. THis is the perfect little dessert to fill my full heart after the conclusion of Ky’s story and a great appetizer for the set of books that are next.
Our happy couple are off to Faye’s (and Siobhan’s) native land- beautiful green Ireland. We have some amazingly romantic/my heart was about to burst moments between these two- especially after all the intensity of their trilogy it is nice to see them so comfortable and at peace in their relationship. OF COURSE, though, these are the Kennedys- drama is like air, so naturally with the whole crew in Ireland, drama follows. We also get some good sneak peeks into the men who will be sharing their stories next- and I am already anticipating all the drama and angst! I love these Kennedy boys!
Far from the best in the series.
This is a great ending for Kyler and Fye but it will not be all you will get of them. They will be back it the other brother’s stories too.
A trip to Ireland sounds like a perfect getaway for me and something I have always wanted to do. Faye takes Kyler back to her home and to meet all her friends. She has fun showing him around her homeland before the rest of the family shows up. When the family arrives, Ireland is not ready for the Kennedy men. All of that gorgeousness in one place is too much.
I enjoyed this one as much as I did all of Kyler and Faye’s stories. I can not wait to read the next book in the Kennedy Boys series.
**I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.**
Never a dull moment with those Kennedy’s, adults and teenagers alike. This book had me laughing in some parts and terrified in others. Those Kennedy guys are absolutely breathtaking, turning heads and breaking hearts everywhere they go. Kyler has fallen head over heels for Faye and he treats her like every woman wants her man to treat her, With upmost respect and trust yet hold that bit of jealousy and possessive nature a little under the surface that rears its head when pushed. This may have just been a short novel but it was everything you need to hold you over until you can read Loving Kelvin…or at least I was for me. I am so in love with these amazing stories!!!! If you are into hot romance, gorgeous guys/girls, and adventures around every corner then you can’t miss reading about these Kennedy’s. Once I found them I’ve never been the same since. I volunteered to read a free advanced copy of this book and I will do so for any and every book written by Siobhan Davis! She is an amazingly awesome writer!!!! You can’t go wrong with ANY of her books.
The Irish Getaway is a novella in the Kennedy Boys series. It can be read after Keeping Kyler and even after Loving Kalvin. It is set after Keeping Kyler as the summer before college begins.
Kyler and Faye had three weeks to themselves in Ireland. It was a beautiful time in their lives and now it was time for the rest of the Kennedys to cross the Atlantic. And since you should be reading this until after you read the first three books, you know what the means. Drama. With a capital D. There will be fights. There will be tears. There will be laughs. There will be parties. There will be sex. Sometimes even in the same night.
Overall…I thought this was a great addition to the series. It was nice to see the family on vacation even if it’s craziness. There was some drama I didn’t see coming and am excited to get more into that in upcoming books.
Oh and the bonus material rocks. Reading other POVs is eye-opening.
Quotes:
“You have a one-track mind.”
“Says the person whose hands are currently sliding up my body.”
“Ohmigawd!” Jill shrieks, laughing. “Your cousin is certifiable.”
“Please don’t argue, boys. I want this trip to be argument free,” Mom beseeches.
I snort. Sorry, can’t help it. “Then you should have gone away with a different family.”

This book was a really good ‘in-between’ whilst it was not as plot heavy as Siobhan usual books (well it is a novella after all) it was a way to say goodbye to Ky and Faye being main characters, you get to see them happy you also get a few hints on the others brothers getting you ready for the rest of the adventures.
It was a very good novella and I enjoyed reading it/
Faye and Kyler are visiting her home in Dublin, Ireland where Faye is getting to spend time with her best friends. After three weeks of alone time, the rest of the Kennedy clan are joining them for a family vacation packed full of sightseeing. As always, when the entire Kennedy family is together, mischief and mayhem ensue. Underlying tension between various members of the Kennedy’s make this a fantastic page turner.
Well written, and fascinating characters that had me cheering them on quite often, and rolling my eyes at their behavior at others. Plenty of surprising, and definitely unexpected twists make this a must read. I loved this book.
I am voluntarily leaving an honest and non-incentivized review of this ARC.
Ready for a change in scenery? This 3.5 stars read is where Faye and Ky take a trip to Ireland before college life begins. A trip that started off with just the two of them and getting the much needed alone time together after the whirlwind they have been through before the whole Kennedy comes to join them over seas.
It was filled with shenanigans and banter among the siblings and having you fall deeper into this twisted dysfunctional family. We also meet friends and get a feel of Faye’s life before her whole life turned upside down.
A novella that will give you a short break from the roller coaster ride of the series that has brought to us so far. Looking forward to more the series and the Kennedy family and their stories.
Love Kyler and Faye and this book takes us on vacation with them to Ireland. Fun, short read that did not disappoint. Love the Kennedy family.
#THEKENNEDYBOYS4EVER
FIVE GETAWAY STARS for Kennedy Boys !!!
One more perfect book from the “Kennedy Boys” series by Siobhan Davis that I couldn’t put it down.
If you have read and loved the first three books from series, this is “the cherry on the top of the cake” book that you MUST TO READ right now!!!
Highly recommended!!!
I can’t wait to read the next book !!!
The Irish Getaway is a quick and fun book to read and boy does Siobhan Davis make it wild as well. Seeing all the Kennedys in one place was hillarious and seeing Kyler wanting more of Faye was awesome. Their chemistry is still hot as ever yet when Siobhan adds in her friends from Ireland it just get wilder each week with this family. This was more than just a vacation but we see how far Faye has come from the first book Siobhan introduced her as a scared, teenage orphan to being loved in a way she never imagined. All in all this was a great novella to the series. Loved it.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
LOVE Kyler & Faye! I just can’t get enough of them.
The first part of this book was just them, making memories and finally getting the time they deserve. Even though there were just a couple little bumps in this novella for them, ultimately for me it was perfect because for once they were just together and I got to enjoy that!
Instead this time around we got to deal with everyone else’s drama and there sure is a lot of drama surrounding these Kennedy boys! I am loving it though, trying to figure out who is for who or if this person will end up with that one. What’s going to happen with this one? I love when a novel brings my mind out to play!
The perfect transition novella from the Kyler Collection into the novels for the rest of the brothers! You just get so much insight into each one of them and I also have to say I’m rooting for James & Alex!
Also some pretty sweet bonus content in this one!
The Irish Getaway is a cute novella following Faye and Ky’s trip back to Ireland where she sees her friends and goes back to her childhood home and also is able to meet her grandparents on her biological father’s side. Her uncle and the Kennedy family follow them out to Ireland to do some sightseeing as well, and of course because they are the Kennedys, there are indeed more shenanigans.
I think the novella was a good read in that it helped provide some peace for Faye in terms of her parents and their death and her childhood home and it allowed her to meet her paternal grandparents. It was also nice to see her two families get to know each other more and spend more time together, although they sure are a bit of trouble. I am so excited to read more about them and what happens when they continue their journey into adulthood at college and I am so excited for Kalvin’s story. I think it is going to be intense!!!
I loved getting away with the Kennedys to The Emerald Isle. Kyler and Faye were able to enjoy each other’s company during their time alone and their character growth was evident.
Once the rest of the family joined them it was also evident how each one of the other brother’s stories are going to be just as interesting and captivating. I can’t wait for what’s to come!! Looking forward to reading more about Kalvin next!
This is a novella to read only AFTER you read Faye and Kyler’s book.
Super fun catch up with Faye, Kyler, and the rest of the Kennedy clan while they’re on their vacation in Ireland.
Getting another glimpse into Faye and Kyler, along with all the exitement that comes with having the Kennedy bunch was amazing.
Ireland has never come across those like the Kennedy’s before, and it shows as all brothers, Kyler included, turn heads everywhere they go. Of course there’s never a shortage of drama where they go, and they get into more than a few altercations in this one over it.
This book also shows how far Kyler and Faye have come since their first meeting. The love is off the scales, and they have no problem showing it.
It was great to read about this couple again, but now I’m off to the next Kennedy.
This was a fun read! I loved being with this wild group on vacation!
The Kennedy Brothers take on Ireland
The focus overall Faye and Kyler, my favorite.
Going to Ireland to meet Faye’s family is Insane! The Kennedy Brothers wild antics and love for a good time and hearty parties and clowning around. Typical guys at that age with close buddies.
