The Kearney Brothers from Ireland are riding into Bear Creek … and into your heart!Tessa MandelThe catcalls and whistles get old, but cowboys are a necessary evil when you work at the Bear Creek Rodeo. While rodeo life isn’t for me, it’s the only thing supporting my secret side career. I live a double life, but I know my dream of returning to the big city is close to becoming reality. If being an … returning to the big city is close to becoming reality. If being an orphan has taught me anything, it’s that you can’t count on anyone but yourself. Working for the rodeo brings many distractions and I can’t afford the complications that come with sliding between the sheets with a smooth talker in tight jeans and a cowboy hat. I have big plans for myself and none of them include being charmed by any of these cowboy Casanovas.
But then I meet the infamous Rhett Kearney, who makes my stomach flutter by just saying my name. One kiss from his gorgeous Irish lips turn my world upside down and my panties inside out.
My timeline doesn’t include falling for a handsome cowboy… but it might be too late for that.
Rhett Kearney
As one of the top saddle bronc riders in the world, I’m no stranger to hard work that draws out blood, sweat and tears. Every time I leave Ireland to compete, I feel the weight of my birthright square on my shoulders, but nothing compares to the roar of a crowd when I climb onto that bucking horse, riding it as hard as I can for those eight seconds. The goal has always been the same — compete in US National Rodeo Finals and make as much money as I can. It’s a race against time, as age is not your friend when you are a professional cowboy. So I don’t waste my time chasing skirts and getting tangled up with a pretty face who’s looking for her next meal ticket out of town.
But I couldn’t prepare myself for the sassy Tessa Mandel or the punch to the gut when I see her beautiful baby blue eyes flare with desire, making me want to risk it all for one more taste of her honeysuckle kisses.
I didn’t travel halfway around the world to lose. I’m taking home my grand prize… she just doesn’t know it’s her yet.

The Irish Cowboy is a swoon worthy, sexy tale that made me want to fall in love all over again. Rhett is the full package and I wanted him to be my cowboy forever. I’m a sucker for accents too, so he could whisper in my ear any day.
I think Tessa and Rhett are an adorable, strong couple that aren’t afraid to chase their dreams. They fight for what the want and they don’t give up. Jessica brought the heat and you could feel the love, passion and chemistry explode off the pages in this sweet and savory story.
OH MY IRISH HAT!! This book was everything from start to finish! I’m not normally an all out cowboy fan but damn Rhett Kearney had me from the get go. It’s fast, angsty and steamingly sexy. Although I must admit it ended all too quickly for me, just when I was really getting into it, it had all but ended, but it was so worth it! This book is swoon worthy and humor filled that it had me laughing out loud and smiling to myself
Get it today don’t delay you won’t be sorry Jessica Marin knows her stuff and will rock your reading world
After reading The Irish Cowboy, I’ve established I never realized I needed a literal Irish cowboy in my life. Especially one as deep and sexy as Rhett… Like where do I sign up? Cause I will be at the front of that line! It was a bite-size read with all the feels, from heartbreak to passion, Jessica hits all the spots. I will say I wish there was a little more Irish jargon, cause when Rhett calls Tessa his “Little Lass”… yeah imagining that with an Irish-lilt… panty-melting. The upside? He’s got a sexy younger brother Ryan that I can’t wait to get my hands on.
First book by Jessica Marin and it was so good. Who doesn’t love a hot sexy persistent cowboy with an accent chasing a sassy Lass. This book was a quick fun read that had all the swoon-worthiness that you could ask for. Go read this book … you will love it!
The Irish Cowboy by Jessica Marin is a sweet and beautiful, steamy and poignant fast-paced romance read that will restore your belief in love. I loved all of the characters and what really sealed the deal was how it focused on the main characters , less on other people drama. I liked how Tessa was smart, independent and beautiful. She had some hard knocks yet it shaped her not break her. Rhett was her perfect foil- great Irish accent, strong alpha hero personality, sexy yet a sweet side and great bronc rider. Their novella story is fantastic and I can’t wait to read more in this new series.
My Rating: 4.5 stars *******
Rhett Kearney is the ultimate book boyfriend! Irish accent, check. Manners, check. Cowboy of my dreams, check.
The Irish Cowboy is a fast-paced romance that will renew your faith in love. I adored all of the characters and especially the minimal drama. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
I slowly walk over and pray that the intuition buzzing through my body is right. That woman is made to be mine.” ~Rhett
Suuuuuper cute! Rhett & Tessa were so wonderful together. I loved that Rhett knew immediately that Tessa was the one for him. I loved the rodeo aspect of the book, it’s a big thing here in Texas, and I loved seeing a new “sports”/western romance!!
The Irish Cowboy was a fun, enjoyable, short read! Loved Tessa and Rhetts insta connection! Fantastic ending! Looking forward to reading Ryan’s story!
If you love your cowboys , add an accent, and you will be asking for more of Rhett..Two people finding what they were not even looking for . Love .
When Rhett whispers in Tessa ear at the bar about him being her “End Story “. I could not stop reading. Saved that whole paragraph to keep as one of my favorite lines . Only issue I had was I WANTED MORE of Rhett and Tessa. Great work Jessica Marin

Wow this was the sweetest book I have read this year. I immensely enjoyed every single page of it, and never wanted it to end. Rhett and Tessa’s story was amazing. It was well developed, well written, eloquent and thought out even though it was a quick and short read. It didn’t lack anything, it captures you from the beginning. What I like most is that it was fast paced and drama free with a conflict. It was sweet and steamy with a dash of western and ‘sports’ romance. The characters are amazing and so likeable, loveable and endearing. They are complex and perfectly imperfect.
The Irish Cowboy is a great addition to the Bear Creek Rodeo series. It’s Rhett and Tessa’s story. Even though it is an insta love – love at first sight it didn’t lack in chemistry or development. It was realistic and the story was so focused on the main characters with glimpse at secondary ones.
Rhett is a cowboy. He is so well mannered, amazing, loving, caring, charming, down to earth and loyal. I loved his accent which I felt like I could hear it just from the beautiful and poignant writing.
Tessa didn’t have an easy childhood. She is administrative assistant at Bear Creek Rodeo. Being an author is her secret occupation. And I really loved that about her; that she loved writing and giving her characters happy ending. After her heart is broken, she doesn’t trust easily and is weary.
Rhett and Tessa were amazing together and it showed that they are really meant to be. They are both flawed and complex. Neither of them at the beginning is looking for a relationship, but also can’t deny the strong connection, pull they feel and the chemistry. They are passionate, angsty, honest and intense. I loved the way Rhett was trying to win her heart, trust and the way he sees her. The ending was perfect.
I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Take a chance and read it. You’re going to love Rhett and Tessa, I promise. I highly recommend it.
This is a very enjoyable instant attraction love story with a hot Irish bronc rider traveling the USA in the Pro Rodeo circuit and a budding romance novelist. I enjoyed the way Rhett knew what he wanted and went after it. A great book to read.
Four sweet stars!
This is a quick novella and has a swoony Irish Cowboy who falls for a woman who doesn’t date cowboys. But Rhett slowly changes her mind and we follow as these two fall in love.
This was a quick read. One that will have you flipping the pages and one that will make your heart happy.

The Irish Cowboy is a great edition to the Bear Creek Rodeo series.
In this novella we experience the love story of Tessa and Rhett. Both longing to escape from where they live only to find that escape can happen in one another’s arms. Read to find out if Tessa can overcome her past broken heart to a cowboy to give Rhett a chance to prove he isn’t like her ex.
This novella had cowboys and Irish accents, what more could you want! If you love a good insta-love story this one is for you! When Rhett and Tessa meet, he knows she’s the one for him. Tessa, on the other hand, is not convinced especially once she finds out he is a cowboy. She has been hurt in the past and has sworn off cowboys, but once she gives Rhett a chance she comes to realize that he is the one for her. I cannot wait to see what is going to happen next in the series!
The Irish Cowboy, by Jessica Marin, is part of the Bear Creek Rodeo series, five different books, five different authors.
Tessa Mandel lost her parents when she was only twelve years old, and was sent to live with her Aunt in Bear Creek, Texas. She became fast friends with her best friend, Adeline. Tessa and Adeline are roommates now and Tessa works for the local Bear Creek Rodeo. Tessa hates living in Bear Creek. Early on her heart was broken by a cowboy. Now she has sworn off anyone in a Stetson. She has bigger dreams and has a second career she is working hard to develop so she and Adeline can move to Austin.
Rhett Kearney lives and works with his family on their ranch in Ireland. Rhett’s dream is to travel the world while riding bucking broncos in the Pro Rodeo Circuit in America. As the oldest son, he is expected to take over the family ranch one day but to him that feels like a death sentence. While his talent is riding broncs, his brother, Ryan’s is bull riding. Together, they finally get the chance to make their dreams come true. It’s on one of their stops that he sees her, the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. Rhett is not a player. He leaves that up to his brother. But one look at Tessa and he knew that she had to be his.
“I’m always up for a challenge and from what I can see so far, Tessa Mandel is worth fighting for.”
I have to admit, Rhett was pretty swoony. Between his accent and his lines, Tessa didn’t stand a chance. She tried, but with a little manipulation from her friend, she agrees to give Rhett a chance. But these two had everything against them. Rhett is constantly on the road from one rodeo to the next. And when the season is over, he’ll have to return to Ireland. How could this even work?
This was so cute. I really did enjoy it. There was one particular thing that Rhett said that made my stomach do a little flip flop. If you read this, maybe you can figure out what it was. While it has a happy ending, the only thing I didn’t really like was it kind of had an abrupt ending. There will be another book that is Ryan and Adeline’s story where the author promises that we will get more of Rhett and Tessa as well. That book will be called The Celtic Cowboy and is coming very soon.
