A Note From Jules:
Be forewarned you might not want to start this book late at night—several readers have reported “gobbling it up” and going on to the next book immediately. This book is literary women’s fiction, it is not a traditional romance, per se.
“If you enjoy Nora Roberts, you’ll like Juliet Gauvin. The Irish Cottage is a fresh take on women’s literary fiction, sometimes light and scrumptious and other times quite profound in its observations on life, love and loss.” -Amazon Review
“A book that conveys the true feelings of Ireland when you visit…it’s a bit of a romance, history, travel, and mystery neatly tied into a book well worth reading.” -Amazon Review
“I started this book and couldn’t put it down. It brought me to Ireland and I never wanted to leave.” -Amazon Review

Fun and entertaining walk through the lives of an American woman and a group of Irish citizens of a small town!
I really liked this book but had no warning that it was a trilogy, or I didn’t read the fine print. It didn’t end, you have to buy the next two books to see what happens. It’s a cheap shot. That’s why I gave it 3 stars. Fine writer, bad gimmick.
An enjoyable tale of life, love, and family.
This book just wasn’t my cup of tea. I picked it because I loved the setting in Ireland. I found the love scenes a little more graphic then I care for.
Predictable.
I liked the book so much that I paid $5.99 for the 2nd book The London Flat and $6.99 for the Paris Apartment. Wonderful trilogy. Hated to see them come to an end. Ms. Gavin has a wonderful way to write. She captures your attention immediately.
You keep wondering – was she going to reject this guy – or was he going to reject her? Very entertaining, waiting to see what would happen between these two intriguing characters.
Just a nice book to cozy up to.
It was just okay. Terrible/disappointing ending. Really no ending.
Was entertaining but did not like the ending as it left me disappointed, will not continue series
interesting story but I didn’t like the male protagonist (at all)
Loved it, read all 3.
Loved this fast read. Takes you away… best trilogy!
Excellent book, kind of left the ending open but there are 2 more books after so hopefully they are easy to get through as well. I am always looking for books that I can put down in the middle of a paragraph (I have a 2 year old) and pick up again later without being lost— this was it!
Loved this book. Ran out to get the rest of the seris.
Absolutely LOVED this book! I immediately bought the next book in the series on my kindle. Great plot and dialogue. The characters were so vibrant, you feel transported right into the pub with them. This author is added to my list of favorites for sure!
Best book of the trilogy. The book immediately caught and then held my interest. Who doesn’t like to start a cozy mystery with a naked man in the bathroom!
It wascfunny
So so
Will probably not buy the rest of the series.
