A Note From Jules:
Be forewarned you might not want to start this book late at night—several readers have reported “gobbling it up” and going on to the next book immediately. This book is literary women’s fiction, it is not a traditional romance, per se.
“If you enjoy Nora Roberts, you’ll like Juliet Gauvin. The Irish Cottage is a fresh take on women’s literary fiction, sometimes light and scrumptious and other times quite profound in its observations on life, love and loss.” -Amazon Review
“A book that conveys the true feelings of Ireland when you visit…it’s a bit of a romance, history, travel, and mystery neatly tied into a book well worth reading.” -Amazon Review

Enjoyable romance
Really enjoyed the book love to know what happened to the main characters if they ever reunited see seemed so real
I loved reading this book
I loved the story, very original. I didn’t like all the explicit sex though.
Definitely makes you want to read the next one to see what happens.
I enjoyed the story but could have completely done without the pages of steamy sex. Skipped those parts and will not read her follow-on novels.
This was a predictable story with an interesting beginning that became a new version of 50 Shades of Grey. Sometimes that is enough but it could have been a much better book
There is no happily ever after in this book, but I am ok with that.
This is about being willing and able to go a totally different direction and learning to be yourself
A delightful read!
Too Hallmark-like.
Funny, emotional, great read. One of the best Book Bub books I have read.
Looking forward to reading the next one in the series.
I loved this book ! Can’t wait to buy the rest! Wish they weren’t so pricey!

I stopped reading it. Didn’t like it at all!!!
Enjoyable read, though there were definitely some strange parts of the characters. I really enjoy a strong, capable female female protagonist; however, some of the various self-defense methods she uses are improbabile. Not *impossible*, but highly unlikely.
This may be a good book for millennials, I am 74. Filled with raw chemistry, sex, food and drinking I found it lacked character development. A light read.
I hate when I read, and enjoy, a book only to find out at the end that it continues and was only the first and continues.
I loved the first, second AND THIRD book in the series and wish there were more!
