Devastated and now alone in the world, Beth tries … alone in the world, Beth tries to find peace in a beautiful cottage by Lough Rhiannon, but peace isn’t what fate had in mind. Almost as soon as she arrives, Beth’s solitary retreat into the magic wilds of Ireland is interrupted by Connor Bannon. A man with light brown hair, ice blue eyes and a secret of his own. He’s gorgeous, grieving, and completely unexpected.

A Note From Jules:
Be forewarned you might not want to start this book late at night—several readers have reported “gobbling it up” and going on to the next book immediately. This book is literary women’s fiction, it is not a traditional romance, per se.
“If you enjoy Nora Roberts, you’ll like Juliet Gauvin. The Irish Cottage is a fresh take on women’s literary fiction, sometimes light and scrumptious and other times quite profound in its observations on life, love and loss.” -Amazon Review
“A book that conveys the true feelings of Ireland when you visit…it’s a bit of a romance, history, travel, and mystery neatly tied into a book well worth reading.” -Amazon Review
“I started this book and couldn’t put it down. It brought me to Ireland and I never wanted to leave.” -Amazon Review

A love story period. Little bit of Irish flavor mixed with unrealistic story. Cute story but i skipped thru sex scenes. Read at the beach.
This has been the best book I have read in the last few months (I read a book a day). It made me realize that I need to do a makeover. Beth and Conner were amazing.
Enjoyable trip thru Ireland with many references to Irish sayings and idioms
I liked the way her Great Aunt’s letters made her move away from a drab life and into a much better life.
The Irish Cottage was a book that urges everyone to follow their heart. This book was very different in the happily ever after with the surprise ending. It was definitely a book to read and was very enjoyable.
Great read I want to go to Ireland and find a little village.
I loved these 3 books and anxiously await the release of the next in the series. Having a great love of Ireland, and having visited 3 times, I knew the villages and towns mentioned. This made everything more real for me and I was able to visualize the countryside’s beauty and glory as I know it to be!
A good read about a woman who is re-discovering herself yet not so much so that she can come to terms with her feelings. It shows how people are in reality and creates a real feeling world that you want to continue on…readers are in luck…the story does continue in another book!
A very Nice story with a good moral.
This story was interesting, but continues in another book, so little resolution in this book. I was looking forward to how it woukd end. It was interesting to hear about Irish customs and life seen from an American’s point of view, and wondered how the pair would work out their differences in their cultures.
Loved the details on the scenic views.
I ordered the 2nd book before finishing this one. I do t usually bother with 2nds in series unless I’m really into the 1st early on.
Dreadful
A very good book to enjoy reading! I would love to read the whole series of books.
I really enjoyed all the books in this series very entertaining
This book was just the right amount of romance, steamy sex, beautiful scenery and just plain fun! I rarely want to move on to the next book in a series, but this one has kept me interested enough to take the plunge. I truly enjoyed taking this journey in the Irish countryside.
Lovely romance
Loved it, and got the other two in the series. Would like to read more with these or peripheral characters
Enjoyed it and looking forward to reading the sequel!
I am interested to read what comes next for these characters.
