A Note From Jules:
Be forewarned you might not want to start this book late at night—several readers have reported “gobbling it up” and going on to the next book immediately. This book is literary women’s fiction, it is not a traditional romance, per se.
“If you enjoy Nora Roberts, you’ll like Juliet Gauvin. The Irish Cottage is a fresh take on women’s literary fiction, sometimes light and scrumptious and other times quite profound in its observations on life, love and loss.” -Amazon Review
“A book that conveys the true feelings of Ireland when you visit…it’s a bit of a romance, history, travel, and mystery neatly tied into a book well worth reading.” -Amazon Review
“I started this book and couldn’t put it down. It brought me to Ireland and I never wanted to leave.” -Amazon Review

Should probably be in romance category.
The love scenes were too often and interfered with the plot. Which was barely there anyway. But the characters were good. I read it while in Ireland and the Irish aspect involved mostly drinking. She was new to the country and never even worries about driving on the left.
This book was like a story in an old True Story magazine. Absolute waste of my time and money.
More of a romance of opposites personalities than a mystery. Continues on into additional books.
Fabulous characters. Truly enjoyed reading this book!
Couldn’t put it down.
Really enjoyed the story line on this book with an unexpected ending…to be continued in the next book as the characters move forward. Look forward to seeing where things lead them next.
Can’t remember the story
I will be looking for the next in the series!
I couldn’t put it down. Some parts were a little too risqué for me but overall great book.
I think my heart is Irish!!
This author brought me in quick! The characters were well-developed and believable. I wasn’t expecting the steamy explicit sexual scenes and didn’t really need them, but I fully enjoyed this story
Didn’t like the flaunting of wealth or all the sexual details but still read series.
Wonderful women’s literary work that one will not want to put down. It will make you want to visit Ireland!
I totally enjoyed reading the book. I wanted to know how the story continued.
I would have liked it better if it had been less steamy. If those scenes had left more to my imagination
Very good read.
It was a cute little book. No heavy plot but light diversion
Enjoyed the complete series. Don’t start to read the first without #2 and 3 available. You don’t want to stop!
A good read, I enjoyed it.
Predictable. The Irish village sounded like a place I’d love to spend a summer. Reading this was like a nice mini-vacation.
