A Note From Jules:
Be forewarned you might not want to start this book late at night—several readers have reported “gobbling it up” and going on to the next book immediately. This book is literary women’s fiction, it is not a traditional romance, per se.
“If you enjoy Nora Roberts, you’ll like Juliet Gauvin. The Irish Cottage is a fresh take on women’s literary fiction, sometimes light and scrumptious and other times quite profound in its observations on life, love and loss.” -Amazon Review
“A book that conveys the true feelings of Ireland when you visit…it’s a bit of a romance, history, travel, and mystery neatly tied into a book well worth reading.” -Amazon Review
“I started this book and couldn’t put it down. It brought me to Ireland and I never wanted to leave.” -Amazon Review

Liked this book alot. Only thing is it ends abruptly but there is a sequel. Haven’t gotten it yet but probably will. Just don’t like expecting an end when there isn’t one without getting the sequel.
Corny. I couldn’t finish it.
Hard go read
Though this stops just as it was getting really good, it was still A good read.
The journey depicted by the two main characters thru grief, finding themselves & enabling them to find true love was inspiring!
I was intrigued by the way the characters express and explored their grief starting with recent grief issues and moving backward to previous grief issues. It shows that even when we don’t recognize our grief it effects us in many ways from childhood to adulthood. I gave the book a 4 star because I thought the sexual was too much when the learning curve seemed to be how best to deal with life through grief.
not my kind of book
So good I had to read all three.
Horrible
O try not to buy books that Connie to 2 or 3 books. They frustra me
Was a very great story. Different in a lot of ways from other stories.i love this book. Good read
Couldn’t put it down. I felt like I knew the characters and I loved all of them. The end came too soon. WHAT TO DO? just started on the next book then on the next. The story flowed seamlessly. Atter I was finished with all 3 of the books, I started reading another story. Didn’t hold my interest. I tried another and settled on re=reading the Irish Cottage trilogy again and enjoyed it just as much.
enjoyed this book! I immediately had to read the next in the series of three.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this romantic tale. I loved the fairytale vibe to it and was looking forward to a happily ever after ending. Was very disappointed that it ended so abruptly but I do realize it is one book in a series of three.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was really good. Makes you think about life. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
I enjoyed the Cinderella story in Ireland.
Kept my interest throughout the book. Loved the descriptive scenes of the Irish countryside. Made me feel like I was really there, or really wanted to be there. Fell in love with the cottage and wanted to move right in. Characters were real, reminding me of some of my friends and sometimes of me. Read straight thru all three books. Loved it all.
Unusual story of a woman who got lost in her career leaving nothing of who she used to be before. This is her path back to who she really is and the joy found in living life and it was mean to be by being true to who you really are. Lots of love thrown in to move her from point A to B. After reading the first one I had to read the rest of the series.
thoroughly enjoyed this book. Have purchased the next one in the series and can’t wait to read it. Really enjoyed the story line and characters.
Worth the read! I bought the other two to go with as well!
