A Note From Jules:
Be forewarned you might not want to start this book late at night—several readers have reported “gobbling it up” and going on to the next book immediately. This book is literary women’s fiction, it is not a traditional romance, per se.
“If you enjoy Nora Roberts, you’ll like Juliet Gauvin. The Irish Cottage is a fresh take on women’s literary fiction, sometimes light and scrumptious and other times quite profound in its observations on life, love and loss.” -Amazon Review
“A book that conveys the true feelings of Ireland when you visit…it’s a bit of a romance, history, travel, and mystery neatly tied into a book well worth reading.” -Amazon Review
“I started this book and couldn’t put it down. It brought me to Ireland and I never wanted to leave.” -Amazon Review

Enjoying reading and enjoyed watching the story develop
This was a good read. The only complaint I have is that the story doesn’t end for 2 more books. They are set in London and Paris (great) but I was a little ticked that I didn’t know that this was 1 story over 3 books.
Sounded good, but disappointing. Not much of a plot, just sort of dragged on with no point. Nothing to keep you coming back for more. I’ve put it aside for now in favor of a more stimulating book.
I loved this book! The story was romantic and entertaining and I couldn’t help but fall in love with the characters. It was hard to put down and left you wanting more when it ended. I heartily recommend this book!
I couldn’t stop once I started the series!
I don’t care for books that have such explicit sex scenes. If people can’t imagine what is going on instead of being told exactly, they don’t need to read it. Also, such a torrid, or loving relationship, the heroine just leaves it.
Not my favorite. The story took too long to tell and the ending was just a way to lead to the next book.
Well written, colorful description without going over board. Ireland was a beautiful setting.
Good read that continues in a series of books. Haven’t gotten the next episode, but this book was good
I really enjoyed this book – so romantic with an ending that keeps you wondering. Can’t wait to read the sequel!
It described the sex act too much and too often for me.I thought the book would be more about history and the scenery of the Iris country along with an interesting story.
I loved this book and bought the additional 2 books in the series which I don’t do often. I fell in love with the characters and had to see the story to the end. I will remember this for a long time
Did not hold my interest. Read about half and quit.
thoroughly enjoyed, left me wanting more
got it for free, but did not intrigue me enough to purchase the rest of the series to find out what happens. Even if for free, probably wouldn’t bother reading.
This book touched me because I also am looking to find out who I am and where I’m going
Loved this book. I could picture living there didn’t want it to end. I want to read more of this kind of reading. Just Great. Thx……
Wish it could have gone on longer
It started out interesting enough with the mystery letters… unfortunately then it became predictable & overly graphic. And ended obviously trying to get you to invest in the next book to find out what actually happens to the main characters… well, sort of, if it keeps on the track that it took down predictable lane, you know what will happen eventually.
Nice light reading
