A TV news producer. * A housewife and mother of two. * An ex-governor. * A struggling writer. Four ordinary people with little in common other than a vague dissatisfaction with their lives, and an unpretentious invitation that seems to come out of nowhere. Each dismisses the mysterious invitation as a practical joke. But when strange—some might even call them miraculous—things start happening, … miraculous—things start happening, all four find themselves embarking on a journey that takes them beyond their wildest imaginings and tests their faith to the breaking point.
Before it’s over, each discovers that, with God, nothing is impossible. Faith can move mountains if you open your heart to the One who has called you.
God uses ordinary people—in extraordinary ways.

If you like novels by James Rubart, you’ll love this one by Nancy Moser. I especially liked the godly supernatural events. I’ve loved other books by Nancy, and this one is a departure from most of them. But the characters and their lives haunted my non-reading time, in a good way.
A lovely reminder of The Holy Spirit and our purpose in life.
After I finished reading this book I couldn’t wait to get the second in the series. Highly recommend!
Definitely thought provoking
Fun book to read with great characters and an unusual plot. Thought provoking, fun read.
A very intriguing book. Went to a used book store and found a copy to share with my granddaughter it was so good
This was a wonderful book. It kept my mind from wandering, resolved the answers to questions I had along the way. Many people assume to be Christians, but really are not. The book clearly answered what you had to do to become one.
I enjoyed this book, but it wasn’t a favorite. Unique storyline though. It’s a good Christian read.
Such an inspirational story! It made my heart glad to see the Bible be used in such a great way to tell their stories. Thank you for sharing this.
I just finished it and just as quickly bought the next one. I can’t get enough of this Subject and the characters in the book. I keep identifying myself with one and then another.
Four unique, real-life people receive mysterious invitations to Haven, Nebraska, but they don’t know why or from whom. Curious and fearful, each feels compelled to respond to the invitation. With them, we are drawn into a world abounding in mystery, danger, and miracles as the characters make discoveries about themselves and each other and learn why they have been called and by whom. Salvation is presented and each person is challenged to follow God’s calling using the gifts and talents God has given them. Speculative fiction pulling together the seen and unseen worlds.
Something very different. I couldn’t put the book down.
Very in lighting.
Reading this and all 3 books will inspire you to aim higher and become more engaged with God and People again! I love it.
This inspirational novel is written as a fantasy with very true, basic Christian teaching. The characters are very realistic even if the setting and events are not. Wonderful teaching through an unusual and entertaining method.
Enjoyed the characters and also the twists in this unusual book. Wouldn’t mind such an invitation in my own life.
This was a wonderful book for those who are Christians or considering the Christian faith. I found it faith building and very encouraging.
It is really good and very unusual in the story line but it kept my interest all the way thru with the different characters all the way thru. really good read and you think about how you would fit into that story line.
An enjoyable story about having faith. I was wishing that life really was as clear as the author made it seem!
I loved this book! It made me think and question my life.
