Middle aged, disappointed and self-loathing, Adam Camp is anything but the picture of a successful man. With his wife threatening to leave him and their son addicted to drugs, Adam teeters on the verge of absolute despair — questioning his own existence and purpose for living.
After an explosive argument with his wife, Adam searches for an escape as he sets out on a journey that will … dramatically recolor his world. While walking through the city park, Adam is approached by an old painter. The mysterious artist convinces Adam to let him paint his portrait and what happens next is nothing short of a masterpiece.

Very thought provoking
It was thought provoking and faith building. I highly recommend it. When I started it, I could not put it down until I finished it.
Adam could be you or me; lost, depressed, afraid and not knowing what to do. We are looking for a way out before we sink. Sometimes we are looking in the wrong places; put our hopes and efforts in the wrong things. What do we value? Will be seek the true helper, guide, loving Father? This book can help you; it can help everyone willing to read …
An excellent must-read book. A message of hope for everyone.
This is a great book for understanding some facets of racism, mis- judging people, and how God can use others to guide you as well as you to help others. As an artist I enjoyed its references to light.

It was a very good story with the use of art. I liked the way the Grace of God was used in this. It was very sweet and uplifting.
I loved the book. I just wish it would have continued.
I didn’t expect to like ths book, but I ended up loving it. The main character has an incredible grasp of what it means to have faith and the critical importance of seeing other people as God sees them. I learned a lot from The Impressionist, and its life lessons continue to inspire me.
very inspiring!
Mildly entertaining
Very inspirational read. Loved the characters and the interaction among the artist, father and son.
A wonderfully entertaining book that is difficult to put down once you start reading. If you struggle to understand how God sees you or that He loves you unconditionally, thien this s book is a must read.
What a great book! Hated when I got to the end. Strengthened my belief that God loves us, no matter how unworthy of his love and forgiveness we may feel.
Well told original storyline. Read it one sitting.
Just an awesome story with reminders of how we should be . Loved it.
