Book plot keep moving
I thought it was too contrived. The extended shoot out scenes simply didn’t pass the believability test. Plus the survival in extreme Antarctic conditions lacked credulity
Highly unbelievable, repetitive scenes, poor character development, lousy dialog between the characters. Was this the author’s first attempt?
Excellent science fiction thriller.
Lots of dead bodies …
Started slow but built up the suspense and created a mystery with a shocking twist ending!
Good story. Writing kept me involved
Very good read. Story line is believable but a bit of a stretch. Characters are strong and easy to follow like most of the series. Enough twists to to keep the interest up and desire to finish the story.
Action packed adventure from start to finish. The characters are realistic and believable, and the scenery is frigid! Looking forward to the next book in this series! Highly recommend!
This is one of those exciting page-turners you stay up reading into the wee hours of the morning. An interesting story considering today’s current events!
I am not interested in knowing more about places with sub zero temperature, but I loved the determination and creative problem solving the characters exhibited.
Refer a lot to a previous book I had not read.
Didn’t really like the characters, so it was an effort to keep up.
Keep me on the seat of my chair- action packed and thrilling
Good read! When I reviewed earlier Thacker books I commented that his writings were reminiscent of James Rollins. This book continues that thought! I’m a character reader, I get into the characters, their story, who/what they are. In this, the third Harvey Bennet book, the characters are well developed after 2 previous works. You can’t wait to turn the next page and learn more about them, and the story line even more so! The suspense builds both in the characters and the story, although “Ben Bennett” seems to be more of an agent than a park ranger, a bit of a stretch. No spoiler’s here, though I will say I can’t wait to read his next book! (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
Could too easily see the events portrayed in this book happening in our time.
Great book plenty of twist and turns. I hope this book never comes true, but I am sure a few have thought about it if not decided to try.
Very interesting plot, lots of twists and great characters. You never know what the next turn will lead to.
A great read from beginning to end! The main character has a keen sense of justice, and is willing to go to extremes to see that justice is done…even if that means breaking the law. That’s enough for me. I found myself cheering him on in his mission to rescue the world from a bad situation.
