If you’re reading this, then I’ve died…
Imagine your husband wrote you a letter, to be opened after his death. And then imagine that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive…
Cecilia Fitzpatrick has achieved it all—she’s an incredibly successful businesswoman, a pillar of her small community, and a devoted wife and mother. This was a great book that I really enjoyed reading. I was hooked right from the beginning. Great beach read.
I love the way this author treats her characters. Even with flaws you care about them and what happens. Rachel’s sadness really got to me. Interesting how all the characters are woven together.
I have seen this before, that is, where a secret destroys the lives of others. In this plot the secret turns out to be unnecessary. The angst and negative consequences is clear in this book. If we have the opportunity to tell the truth, it can prevent a lot of pain. The book is so appealing because “Who doesn’t have secrets.”
Some things in life seem so routine in your life, your neighborhood and in your family…. that is until your whole world is turned upside down and you know not where to turn for the right answer. Love this author and the way she weaves a tale and throws in the twist and turns to surprise you. Searching out more of her writings.
I liked this LM book too (not as much as What Alice Forgot or The Hypnotist’s Love Story but as much as Big Little Lies). It was a bit dark for me, although the query of how well you ever really know your spouse is worthwhile. I also enjoyed the Tess triangle and what really happened with the death – nice twist.
Like all her books, assumed truths are turned upside down. Easy to read with a satisfying ending.
Thought provoking.
Loved this story!
I thought I had it figured out very early but Moriarty surprised me.
Couldn’t wait to get this book .I was disappointed
I really, really loved this book. It had just the right amount of characters. The story had twists that I didn’t see coming, which makes a very good book in my eyes. I will recommend this book to all of my friends, female and male.
I enjoyed reading this book and the way it tied everyone together.
This book was recommended by my best friend. Thank you Jane!
If you like books with big twists, read this! One of my favorites.
Loved the format of following three different characters. As the story progresses you find how their lives are all intertwined. Very relatable characters. Some situations made me laugh out loud, and some made me sad.
Gives you something to think about!
Liane Moriarty always keeps me turning pages!
Good read.
