Loved the format of following three different characters. As the story progresses you find how their lives are all intertwined. Very relatable characters. Some situations made me laugh out loud, and some made me sad.
Gives you something to think about!
Liane Moriarty always keeps me turning pages!
Good read.
A intriguing story plot.
Great read!
i loved the way this booked flowed, and to unpredictable outcomes. The ones you did see coming were only visible from a page or two before. The characters are real and do gain your empathy. This was my first book from this author but it will not be the last.
Great story line and good character development.
My mind is reeling. The Husband’s Secret is an enthralling read.
At first I was a bit confused (actually started taking notes) reading the first few chapters. The story centered around the lives of 3 main women characters & each chapter gave you a slice. My timelines got confused but then it all suddenly clicked & I didn’t need to take notes anymore.
Cecelia, Rachel & Tessa, what interesting & different women they were. How they learned to deal with the secrets of those close to them and their own secrets.
I was captivated & didn’t want to stop until I had the answers but life calls & I did have to pause on occasion.
Intriguing read, made me stop & think on many occasions. My first read by this author but I don’t see it being my last.
Talk about Pandora’s Box! The many characters were easy to recognize and care about, but the back and forth is hard for me to keep track of. The separate people wrap up and resolve in an interesting and believable way. This was a very good book.
Too many plots going on at one time. Most of it made me sad
I can’t imagine Ms. Moriarity writing anything I didn’t enjoy. While the ending wasn’t quite as upbeat as I would have preferred, it was satisfying nonetheless.
Excellent study of the character of 4 women whose lives interact in different ways. The story is interesting, and at different times it’s steamy, tragic, twisted, and a page turner. We see justice occur, but are not comfortable or happy about it.
This book was so profound and showed how a single act can change several lives. It felt so real, and I really got into the characters’ minds and felt what they must have been feeling. I couldn’t put it down.
Really liked this book, am interested in more by this author now!
Page Turner for me. Interesting characters.
Enjoyed good reaf
Good read!
I liked how well the author wove the various family’s stories together, yet keeping them distinct. It can be a little confusing initially but worth it. The questions that are raised in the setting of every day situations, as well as the potential disasters and tragedies, are ones that can happen to anyone and were so thought-provoking, simple yet not simplistic. The characters were also well done because there were some whom were sympathetic yet simultaneously dislikable. I bought this on a whim and really enjoyed it.
Love all her books
