I could not get into this book although it was highly recommended. Perhaps because I have not read the previous books in the series and was not already familiar with the characters.
Started reading. Too vulgar!
started out fine, but then author pandered to gratuitous graphic sex, closed the book after a couple chapters
This book was fast paced. They are unpredictable in their reactions to other characters and situations.
could not get interested
This was a funny kind of “off the wall” assassin story. I almost put it away a couple of times but the story held my attention and I just had to know what kind of trouble the characters would get into next.
Will the chase to find Carl finally be over? Hmmmm I can’t wait to find out! I love these characters and their adventures…it’s a fun escape from reality!!
Would love to see the movie!
Did not like how chapters were set up with beginning comments very confusing did not finish reading
I found Carl to be a disturbing bully sadist and the book to was too disturbing for me to finish. I like the dialogue and some of the chapter introductions were very funny but the over all sadistic theme was too much
I’ve enjoyed each of the Housewife Assassin books, but this one was very much my favorite. I really don’t know how Ms. Brown does it time after time, but still it one of my favorites. Love that Jack character as he handles whatever she throws at him. They manage the unmanageable and still float to the top. It certainly has been quite a ride in this thriller.
This is a great series, I think I’ve read all of them Funny, entertaining, hard to put down.
The Housewife Assassin’s series is a hoot! If you want a steamy, easy to read series, I would recommend this series highly!
