Smut dressed as a mystery. Yuk.
Summary: CIA assassin husband is killed, wife takes over, Casanova agent comes, wife falls in love, some humor, sex. This is entertaining but far-fetched, sometimes irritating, complex story line, not a completely happy ending. This is clearly light reading, worth reading at the beach, but don’t expect fabulous literature.
Not very interesting.
I loved this book until the final chapter. The majority was an amusing story of a housewife working as a contract killer for the CIA. The last chapter however was unnecessarily dramatic in an attempt to get readers hooked into the series and the next book; the result – I’m not buying the second. Read the first 25 chapters, but skip number 26.
couldn’t get past the first chapter
The first thing about this book is sex. I like a book that is clean with humor. I lied I never made it past page 3 It was disgusting
Very different plot with lots of humor and twists to the story.
How does a gal go from being a simple, though shapely, housewife to becoming an assassin? How about having a husband who worked indirectly for the CIA as a spy/operative, and he is also a double agent! She heads off to deliver baby #3 with her husband only to have him disappear; then he dies in a car bomb in the desert! She’s now a new mother …
It was just really dumb. High school who is a killer. Let’s get real. Kill in the morning pick up kids in the afternoon ?
Predictable, but cute book!
I loved it! I will read the rest of the books in the series.
Main character is annoying and unbelievable.
I was enjoying the book till it got into the graphic sex scenes. One reason I like Cozy Mysteries is I do not care for Graphic sex, vulgar language or blow by blow detail descriptions of murders or death scenes. The book was funny and interesting till it got so graphic. Then it just became down-right too vulgar for my taste. if it is not a …
Not a believable story line
gory
I found it disturbing, but I think it is intended to be
too smutty for my taste
Boring. Trashy
too far out there
Premise too dumb to sustain the book,
