I did NOT expect to like this book, but I LOVED it! At first it was funny and quirky, but the author TOTALLY speaks my language (sarcasm) and I called some of the twists and turns before they happened! I WILL continue with this series!
Loved it
Very easy read.
A fun, off beat female undercover agent romp. A bit of sex, failed marriage, betrayal, bad guys & good. A nice enjoyable read. Bought many of the series & had fun reading.
I loved the character and thought the chapter preludes a great addition.
Her books are great
This book was absolutely fun to read. I truly enjoyed everything about this book and can’t wait to continue reading the rest of the series.
Not deep, but amusing. The title covers the plot concept–a housewife turned professional assassin. The main character repeatedly gets herself in and out of situations with her assassination targets, her children’s car pool, her former husband, her assassin colleagues, all while trying to make it home in time to make supper for the kids.
Fun read
The plot twist was fun. I would have loved to get more character development of the love interest/pretend husband. He goes from saying she isn’t his type and he would rather have anyone else to being very protective, in love and clingy very quickly. All round a fun read.
Fun book. Love the commentary regarding housewife AND assassin skills. Very tongue-in-cheek.
A bit predictable in the romantic area, but still enjoyable. I loved all the intrigue. This is a series of books and I am very tempted to pick up the next one to see where these characters go. Amusing, light reading.
Do fat, a great series. When I was finished this book, I wanted to know more, I have read the first 3 books in the series. And will read the rest
Fun read
A lot of fun to read!
I enjoyed reading this series, funny and entertaining.
Get it while it’s still FREE on Bookbub – this one’s a steal!! This book was absolutely hilarious, with a great balance of action and steamy moments. If you like Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum character then you will love Donna Stone as well. Her family, neighbors, and “co-workers” make for a lot of “interesting” situations, and let’s just …
Original idea, however not believable but I did comment “whimsical.” I would recommend as a fun read with twists and turns.
Funny!
Fun read. Just a heads up, it does have sex scenes.
highly entertaining light read with a great strong woman lead
