PRAISE FOR THE HOUSEWIFE ASSASSIN SERIES
“The book ended with a hook that made me want to get the next one. I’m completely smitten.” –BarbaraVey.com
“A hilarious, laugh-out-loud read. Donna is a fantastic character – practical, witty, and kick-ass tough. There’s plenty of action – both in and out of the bedroom – and although there are a few grittier scenes, generally this is a light, humorous caper of a crime novel. I especially love the housekeeping tips at the start of each chapter – each with its own deadly twist! This book is perfect for relaxing in the bath with after a long day. I can’t wait to read the next in the series. Highly recommended.” –CrimeThrillerGirl.com
“Can I be Donna when I grow up? The story jumps off the page with side-splitting humor, toe-curling sexual tension, and a nail-biting mystery. It’s got everything a great story needs! It left me asking two important questions.” –Elicia Hyder, author, Soul Summoner Series
“This is a super sexy and fun read that you shouldn’t miss!” –Mary Jacobs, Bookhounds Review

In the prequel for this 17-novel series, readers get the backstory on housewife assassin Donna Stone and the two men in her life: Carl, her husband who hid his covert ops life from her; and Jack Craig the spy sent to assess her emotional and physical fitness from afar as she proves she’s up to the task of replacing—and avenging her dead husband. …
A really good read! I really like this series as it shows the main character as a Mom, Patriot(?) and wife. There are others in this series. Also if you like the Lucky O’toole series there’s a combined book; Housewife Assassin gets Lucky! Also really good!
Donna Stone is bad ass!!
She should’ve been the main character of the story and not Jack, the perverted agent.
Anyway, the story was cool. Revenge is dish best served cold and that is a true adage for Donna. She wants nothing but revenge. Can’t say I blame her really.
I like stories of espionage when they use normal people.
This book kinda …
A great quick read that will keep you entertained
Fun story, but too much sex.
Love this Author
This book gives us a prequel to the series about Donna Stone who has had life throw a few obstacles in her way: a husband who was a lying, cheating, spy/assassin, double agent, deadbeat dad who faked his own death. He is now part of an international crime syndicate. This book gives us more of how Donna got hooked into becoming an assassin after …
Read it twice. Enjoyable work to read.
This book was different than the formula romance/suspense novel. The two male operatives seemed quite human and Donna, the wife, mother and widow had an unexpected depth.
I will read another book in this series.
Really enjoyed this and since read several more in the series
I thought the book was OK but very odd. I’m not sure that I was in love with the characters after reading it.
This witty tale is entertaining and the advice is priceless.
Enjoyable read
Others in the series are better.
Need a fun read every once in awhile. This is fun. Enjoy!
Loved it!
A good read! Not expecting that! Enjoyed book!
The story was written from an unusual perspective. I found the spy terminology opening each chapter added to my interest. I was satisfied with the ending.
I love Josie Brown’s writing. These stories draw me in completely and when im finished with one i start looking for the next one!
