When two hot, haute heroines team up to solve a murder, neither can afford to be fashionably late.No one expected to find a dead girl in the Royal Suite at the Babylon’s posh London club. Who would kill her? And why? With little to go on and no friends to rely on, Lucky O’Toole, the Babylon’s Chief Problem Solver, is dispatched to…well, to solve the problem. But she needs to be in Paris. Her … to be in Paris. Her fiancé—and, worse, his mother—are counting on her presence at a party in her honor in seventy-two hours, more or less. With a personal-life time-bomb ticking, Lucky hopes for a quick solution.
A mystery woman, seen leaving the Royal Suite just before the girl’s body is discovered, attracts Lucky’s attention. She has to be the key…
On loan to the CIA, assassin Donna Stone Craig and her crack black-ops team have stepped into a viper’s nest. First, they darn near get out-bid and overwhelmed at an auction to acquire a vintage purse hiding some critical intel its lining. Then a very important source Donna is to meet at the Babylon London Club winds up dead. And the young woman’s intel—bearing incredible global consequences—is encrypted. She was the only one who could give Donna the cipher, and she’s dead. Surely someone else would know. But, who?
It’s easy to see why Acme’s prime suspect is the tall brunette who acts like she owns the place. Lucky O’Toole shows up at the wrong time, and in the wrong place.
But before Donna and Lucky can find the right answers, they’ll need to overcome their reservations, and resolve their differences. But can they learn to trust each other before the real killer gets away?
They have to. Their lives—and world peace—depend on it.

I liked how the two authors combined forces along with their respective main characters to create a fun crossover novel.
I had read previous books with the character Lucky and thoroughly enjoyed the addition of the co-authors.
I really enjoyed the melding of characters!
Fun read
This book has a little bit of everything. Murder, spies and even some romance. No one would suspect a housewife of being a spy & assassin.
Two of my favorite characters come together (accidentally) to create havoc and beat the bad guys again! The sweet mom/spy/assassin/housewife and the always-on-top-of-everything Vegas problem solver seemingly have nothing in common except determination, but bringing together more funny characters and impossible situations, they once again are victorious! I love each of their series, but together, these girls blew me away!
Get character descriptions. Fun book to read
A fun read
I have enjoyed both series and combining them was such an excellent choice. How about another.
Interesting interaction between to favourite authors. I want more of both authors
Some technical “glitches” in the book, but a good read overall.
A great blending of series and characters! The potential is unlimited. I’m looking forward to many more collaborative efforts.
This book was a great read. I loved the way the heroines stories came together.
I find the Housewife Assassin Series to be a fun breath of air after tragic romances, historical fiction and all those clumsy lead characters forever falling down wells, cliffs, into dungeons and walking across the wrong bridge during the wrong moon phase only to drop into the arms of a 15c. laird. And why are they always lairds? Why hasn’t any of these characters fallen into the potbelly of a burgermeister? But I digress …
Lucky and her sexy love, Jack, are quick thinking, action propelled agents for Acme. They have a support team who travels with them and in this case, a forlorn playboy who thinks he is love. And then the fun starts!
Your brain cells won’t swell with newly acquired information by reading “The Housewife Assassin Gets Lucky,” but you will have a good time!
Unexpected plot twists and good characters.
The combination of these two authors created one great book! I love Lucky! She can do anything! I’ve been reading the housewife assassin series and enjoy it. I look forward to more dual missions.
Enjoyable, though predictable. I preferred the Lucky sections; the ones with Donna tend to be a bit too snidely sarcastic as well as over-the-top for me. Interesting blend of the two authors. I particularly liked the idea of having the story told from two different first person viewpoints, especially when each thinks the other Did It.
A cute, fun-to-read mystery with interesting characters and a few unexpected twists and turns.
I often think about how I would like to see one fictional character meet and interact with another… the crossover makes for extra interest. I really enjoyed seeing Lucky and Donna get together, with a rough start, then growing. Usual respect and cooperation. I’d love to see a reunion of these two sometime.
Love both of these authors.
