…all within the walls of the house on Seabreeze Shore.

A wonderfully written story you’re easily swept up in as you start turning the pages. It flows smoothly from page to page and it holds your interest until you reach the end. The characters are so well developed you feel like you’ve known them for years. A great series to have in your reading list.

Kelli is finally taking steps to take back control of her life including the house she kept secret from everyone including her mother, however of course nothing is that simple as just her luck she finds something of her fathers. Kelli isn’t the only one with exciting or worrisome things happening we have new boyfriends, break ups, health scares, money issues, thoughts of moving and more secrets uncovered. At times I don’t know how these ladies get through everything but when you see the bonds they have with each other you know why they can.

THE HOUSE ON SEABREEZE SHORE is the fifth book in the FIVE ISLAND COVE series and I’m looking forward to the sixth book, FOUR WEDDINGS AND A BABY. It was awesome to be reunited with all the friends and families we’ve met before, some new ones too, new relationships, new careers and even homes. There are so many storylines and they thread together seamlessly. We pick up many of the stories that we’ve visited before and start new ones too. There is love in the air as well as secrets, hormones, sadness, arguments, tears, laughter, romance, loving and love.
I love the depth of the characters and that it’s a multigenerational story with the women’s parents, siblings and children playing an important role in the telling of the tale as well. The descriptions often made me feel like I was there. I could taste the food. There was a vibrancy and a vividness in the telling of the story. It was nice to see the friends all getting on with their lives even if most of them never expected to be where they are today. There was a nice flow and some closure but the book ended too abruptly for me. There were some happily ever afters in the offing
Ms. Newton is an author whose books I’ve enjoyed in this series. I can’t wait to read more.

I rated it 4.5 stars but rounded to 5 stars here and on other sites.
Another suspenseful read from the pen of Jessie Newton.
The narrative at the opening threw me off, but as I read further into the novel the plot unfolded.
So many secrets, so many surprises but Kelli finding a way to live her dream, in the house she grew up in, despite the awful memories it held for her mother who doesn’t want anything to do with the property, is inspiring seems to be the catalyst to healing for everyone concerned.
The secondary cast of characters also lends credibility to this novel.
The fifth book in the Five Island Cove series a well written story that held my interest until the end. Alice, AJ, Kelli, Robin, Kristen, Eloise, and Laurel are moving on with their lifes in this one Kelli gets a surprise to do with her deceased Father. I want to read the next book. This book was so full of secrets, surprises, and mysteries that I found myself quickly reading to find out what was going to happen next. I really emjoyed how everything came to light and how Kelli would finally be able to quit her job and open up her very own yoga studio and wellness center in her childhood home. I also liked that this might help her mom and sisters deal with their past and finally move on from it.
I also liked all of the friendships Kelli had and how everyone pulled together for her. It was fun watching each of them grow and find love. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
I really enjoyed reading this story, as it adds more details about the girl´s relationships, their past and how they see and work towards their future. They have to overcome a series of bumps and problems in their lives, and that involves opening their souls bare, crying and ending everything with a renewed and stronger friendship. Easy to relate with anyone´s life, easy to read and entertaining!

I absolutely love these women. The secrets, the love, the honesty; a great continuation to the story of the 7 ladies. I must have missed one, because they talked a lot about a tsunami that I don’t remember and will be going back to check out. In this book Kelli gets closure about her dad that starts the healing with her mom and sisters, but creates a rift with AJ. of course, all works out for now. I absolutely recommend this series to anyone who loves stories with hear, friendships and family that are not perfect, but are all trying to be better.

This is book five in The Five Islands Cove Series and it continues the five best friends as they are continuing there journey of life. AJ, Eloise, Robin, Kelli and Alice are all together again to help Kelli get the house where she grew up in decorated as it needs a lot of work but as usual they are all lending a hand but things don’t always go as planned as more secrets are read but how will effect them. These friends are always there for each other regardless even when they occasionally wonder what is going on as things keep resurfacing but they always get there in the end. The characters and storyline pulls you in right from the first page and keeps you on your toes and I really enjoyed reading this story. Remember that this is not a standalone book and you will need to read from book one to get all the background history but it is definitely worth reading.

Another great addition to this series. Once again, we are provided with well written, endearing characters and a story line that is engaging. I will admit that I had to do a quick skim of the previous books to catch myself back up so I wasn’t lost on who is who and what is going on.

The story continues for the women of the cove. I still wish the author would write a recap at the beginning of every book. I feel lost at times trying to keep everyone straight. The book was good, but I am starting to feel like they all follow the same pattern. Some drama, some happy endings, some big family secret in the middle that causes people to doubt each other. I feel like I skimmed this one more than the last one as parts were drug out. However, I do feel warm fuzzies with these women when they are happy, and feel like part of the group.
