“With impeccable pacing, Cradit shifts effortlessly between these various points of view, demonstrating superb psychological insight and a compassion for even her most damaged (and frightening) characters. Her talent for creating atmosphere rivals Daphne du Maurier.”- Christopher Rice, New York Times Bestselling Author of The Heavens Rise“This story will make you fall in love, shock you, keep you … love, shock you, keep you in suspense and make you stay up all night (warning) just so you can find out what happens next… tight and masterful.”- Ionia Froment, Amazon Top 100 reviewer
“Cradit’s writing is poetic prose.”- Becket, Bestselling Author of Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles: An Alphabettery

I love this saga! This is the most twisted, strange and wonderful family! The characters are each unique and endearing . I would recommend beginning with the first series that starts in the 1970’s and continue on with these! Can’t wait to read the next set!
Witchy, eerie, with a dash of vampires near the middle of the end. Wow. What a long, long long series. If you like long stories with A LOT of characters, this is for you. Includes New Orleans, Ireland, Norway and New England. These characters sure do get around, and unseen family traits may lay long hidden then suddenly develop and grow very strong. What seems to be a “weak” character can suddenly become a major player. Lots of “books” to split up just one extra long story. I was drawn on to the final ending, only to find that the author was writing spin-off stories that would continue from the main books. Sort of a “never ending story”. Right up my alley.
How would you classify these four books? Well the first is full of angst about their relationship between cousins Nicolas and Ana and friend Oz. The book also has a psychological component in the mental illness of Jon and Ana’s “otherness.” Yet in the end the book turns into a thriller, but nothing about relationships is resolved. The second book focuses on the growing love between Ana and Finn, but also the love-hate feeling Jon has for Ana. The second book reads more like a tragic romance without resolution. The third book’s focus is Nicolas and a new character named Mercy, and the tone of the book goes all Woo-Woo with occult and otherworldly events. The final book expands on the other world that Aigrid p, Mercy, and now Ana are part of. They are rogues in desperate danger from an evil government. So the author has covered all the bases as far as genres. Did I like the characters? The books? The writing and plot? Sort of but not really. It was an eclectic mix, and some characters finally matured and moved on a bit. But I wouldn’t recommend the series to anyone with educated taste used to good literature.
Very entertaining. Love the character development and Gothic themes.
Long winded and slow to the point. I couldn’t get past book 2 before deleting it.
I read all 12 of these books. I could NOT put them down. Amazing
I just read the first book. loved the characters, the storyline and the atmosphere created by the descriptions of time, place and the characters. getting ready for next book with anticipation.
I had to stop reading this after a non-con scene is just brushed off as jealousy. he was jealous of her boyfriend…..revolting
I had a little trouble getting into the series, but once I figured out who was who I was really drawn into the storyline. I searched for the next books but was unable to locate the next in the series.
I didn’t love this book but not because it wasn’t well written. It’s not my cup of tea. I thought it would be a bit more fantasy and it was a bit more realistic thriller/fiction. I think if it was tagged as that, it would be a 5
Boring. Forced my way through 1 hoping for something good to happen and was very disappointed.
Can’t wait to read the next set of books..
Confusing and a waste of time
Loved these books. Couldn’t put it down. Am now reading the next books in the series. Definitely recommend.
Love this book! And it’s on sale this weekend!
