What’s sexier than a bad boy? A bad ass man who’s got his shit together. Max Alexander is nearing thirty-five. He’s built a successful company, and he’s conquered the professional world, but he’s never been lucky in love. Focusing so much time on his business and raising his daughter, adulting has come at the expense of his personal life. His social skills are shit, his patience is shot, and at … skills are shit, his patience is shot, and at times, his temper runs hot.
The last thing he has time for is the recently single, too gorgeous for her own good young woman he hires to take care of his little girl. She’s a distraction he doesn’t need, and besides, there’s no way she’d be interested. But you know what they say about assumptions?
This is book 3 in the Roommates series, but each book can be read as a complete standalone as they all feature new couples to fall in love with.

The other side of Kendall’s writing, that’s what I’m calling this one. LOL! They are usually smoking hot and this one is a bit tamer.
The sweet, the sexy and the fun. This one had all three. The hot single Dad who needs help raising his baby and the lady who answered his call for help. I loved these two together. I love that they were written so well and very mature. I think that made this book so much more for me. I don’t think I could of enjoyed it as much as I did had they been written a bit immature. This series is still going strong for and I’m enjoying each release. Grab them if you haven’t read them yet!
Very Sweet, loving story. Could not put it down. Max and Addison have great chemistry but are holding on to a lot of baggage. It made for a great read. Enjoyed everything about this book, it was so refreshing.
The romance had all the feels. And there were plenty of sexy times. Things moved pretty fast in my opinion, but it seemed to work out fine between them. Dylan was quickly loved and accepted into the family too. I totally loved and respected the way Max wanted to raise her. I feel like the Tiffany situation didn’t get fully resolved, but I don’t care enough to really worry about it.
It was good!
Max Alexander likes his eternal bachelor status, he has everything he could want from life… a successful business, a beautiful daughter to raise, freedom to roam, so why complicate it with adding love? Sure he likes the company of women, but he decided early on love would never come into play for him, so he is up front with the women he dates, it’s strictly casual or nothing at all. But this eternal bachelor’s life is about to be turned upside down… when he advertises for a nanny for his daughter and he opens his door to an alluring brunette with girl next door good looks he can’t help but want her to fall into his bed. Now he’s left struggling to keep his hands to himself, why does she have to be so damn distracting?
After her relationship implodes Addison Lane finds herself homeless, jobless, and in desperate need of little luck. She soon finds that her prayers for luck are about to be answered, when she runs across a job listing for a live-in nanny, it includes room and board, and it’s just to good of a deal to pass up so she crosses her fingers and sets up an interview. She is certain it is the perfect place for her to get her new start, no complications, just a sweet little girl to care for, but when that little girls’ sexy brooding father opens the door, Addison starts to have her doubts about the no complications part. How is the hell is she supposed to focus on her job when that delectable walking distraction will be around???
The moment I read the synopsis for this one I was intrigued, I mean what is not to like about a sexy single dad, then I saw that Ms. Ryan was at the helm, and I was totally sold!! The minute that woman puts pen to paper, literary gold is created, and a new irresistible alpha like Mr. Alexander is born into the literary world, with one mission… to melt the hearts, and weaken the knees of every reader he meets… and all I can say is mission complete Mr. Alexander!!! Max and Addison instantly pulled me into their world, had me completely addicted, and not willing to come up for air until I had devoured every last page… and damn was it delicious! Their story was filled with unwavering intensity, smoldering passion, heartfelt emotion, & they had this tangible scorching chemistry that ignited some very hot and spicy encounters that had me and my Kindle feeling the heat!! Loved every minute of this one, I HIGHLY recommend you meet these two they are sure to take you on a truly blissful (and HOT!!!) literary escape!!
