From the New York Times bestselling author of The Giver of Stars, a novel about a lost girl and her horse, the enduring strength of friendship, and how even the smallest choices can change everything When Sarah’s grandfather gives her a beautiful horse named Boo—hoping that one day she’ll follow in his footsteps to join an elite French riding school, away from their gritty London … their gritty London neighborhood—she quietly trains in city’s parks and alleys. But then her grandfather falls ill, and Sarah must juggle horsemanship with school and hospital visits.
Natasha, a young lawyer, is reeling after her failed marriage: her professional judgment is being questioned, her new boyfriend is a let-down, and she’s forced to share her house with her charismatic ex-husband. Yet when the willful fourteen-year-old Sarah lands in her path, Natasha decides to take the girl under her wing.
But Sarah is keeping a secret—a secret that will change the lives of everyone involved forever.

This opened up a new level of understanding people and horse passion. Lots about fear, secrets, deletion of information being life changing, inner strength coming in so many different forms, a wonderful read.
Love all her books. No exception for this one
If you love horses, you will not want the story to end.
First JoJo Moyes book I have read. Enjoyed the way she writes and her story telling. A unique story about a girl and her horse, entertwined with other relationships and memorable characters and history. Very good book.
JoJo Moyes creates wonderful characters & fascinating stories
Excellent book great writer.
Very unusual story. Lots of interesting characters. Tugs at your emotions.
A nice little read. Not particularly spell binding. Characters were fairly one-dimensional and not particularly likable. I would have liked to have read a lot more about the horse and a lot less of the people. That being said, i probably would not truly recommend the book.
A great story with twists and turns.
Characters were true to life.
Learned a lot about dressage.
I liked the characters. I learned about horses and culture around horses.
Superb book! Great fiction with factual information.. the best written book I’ve read this year!
Great story and interesting characters
