Elizabeth St. Claire has always been hard to please. Dreaming solely of Highlander men her whole life, no prancing London Lord can stand a chance at winning her heart… … But perhaps a Scotsman can. Elizabeth watches intrigued as the Highlander of her dreams, a Scotsman named Hamish Robb, arrives to oversee her season at the behest of her cousin, the Duke of Caithness. Elizabeth doesn’t hide … Elizabeth doesn’t hide her feelings for the striking Scot. But Hamish, determined to obey his order to protect the St. Claire sisters, steadfastly rejects her every seducing lure.
Believing that the debutante Elizabeth deserves a better, wealthier man, Hamish continues to turn away from her affection, even though he doesn’t exactly want to. Can this Highlander Scot resist the tempting seductress’ attempts to win his heart?

Delightfully entertaining book with something for everyone – what is not to love. Kidnappings, elopements, and romance – Oh! My!
The four St. Claire sisters, Anne, Elizabeth, Victoria, and Mary are cousins to Lachlan Sinclair, the Duke of Caithness. When their parents died, their dreams of a season died as well – until the Duke took an interest in them and provided them with dowries and a season. They live, in London, with their aunt, Esmeralda Van Cleve who is a society maven. She will stop at nothing to get her nieces married into the highest titles and wealth possible.
They are all looking forward to the Duke’s arrival from Scotland. He is coming to act as their protector and sponsor for the season. Except, it isn’t the Duke who arrives. His new wife is expecting and he won’t leave her and sends his emissaries instead, Ranald Gunn, Baron of Bower and Hamish Robb. Neither of them is welcomed by Aunt Esmeralda, but Elizabeth and Anne beg to differ! Hamish is square-jawed, green-eyed, dimpled and very handsome with his burnished red hair. Elizabeth loves the rumble of his voice and his Scottish brogue. Ranald is warm and sincere with sandy brown hair. Both are charming beyond belief.
Elizabeth has always dreamed of a Scottish suitor who would fall in love with her and sweep her off her feet – and they would live in the Highlands. The reality is that her current suitor, Lord Twiggenberry (Goodness what a name! – Giggles) is tall, thin, wooden-faced and wears an unctuous pomade that makes her stomach churn. He also natters on about what his dear mama’s expectations for his wife are.
Anne, who is tall and willowy with serene brown eyes, has no interest in anything Scot – especially the men. She loved one once and he broke her heart. So, she paints all male Scots with the same brush – as feckless and unfaithful. So, why does she find herself liking Ranald?
We get four romances and HEA’s in this one book – what a thrill. All of the romances are sweet, some are hard-won and others are very improbable. Then, you add in kidnappings, attempted rape, elopements and stubborn people and you have an interesting read that will keep you turning pages to see what happens – and to whom – next.
“I requested and received this e-book at no cost to me and volunteered to read it; my review is my honest opinion and given without any influence by the author or publisher.”
This book is the much awaited follow up to the novella “The Scot Says I Do” in Say Yes to the Scot: A Highland Wedding Box Set in which we met the St. Claire sisters. This book not only brings back her Untamed Highlanders, but also several of the characters from her Noble Passions series.
The primary hero/heroine in this book are Elizabeth St. Claire and Hamish Robb, but there is a very strong secondary romance between Anne St. Claire and Ranald Gunn, Baron of Bower, as well as secondary-secondary romances for the two younger sisters, Victoria and Mary.
Elizabeth and her sisters are cousins to the Duke of Caithness and he has generously financed their season and given them dowries, but since his wife Lana is expecting their first child, he sends Hamish and Ranald to London to watch over them in his stead. Their chaperone Lady Esmerelda, is disappointed that the duke is not going join them, but decides that having two handsome highlanders around could be used to their advantage. Lady Esmerelda is on a mission and nothing will stop her from finding husbands for the St. Claire girls!
Elizabeth already has a suitor when the book opens, Lord Twiggenberry (OMG – I still crack up over that name), and as much as she knows he would be a good match, she really doesn’t like him (or the pomade he uses), she hopes for a love match and preferably with a Scotsman, so when she meets Hamish for the first time – it is like an answer to all her prayers. Hamish is equally taken with Elizabeth, but doesn’t feel like he has anything to offer her and tries to quash his desire for her.
The story that ensues is a very amusing tale complete with kidnappings, runaway marriages, an Almack’s patroness with wandering hands, stinky suitors and a second chance at love. Yup, this story has something for everyone – laugh out loud moments, heart wrenching moments, steamy moments, lots of cameos and finally several HEAs!
This book could easily be read as a stand alone title but once you read it, you are going to want to read the Untamed Highlander and the Noble Passion series just to find out what you missed!!
I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to next generation of highland heroines!
*I am voluntarily leaving a review for an eARC that was provided to me by NetGalley and the publisher*
I loved this book! There is witty dialogue, sexy Scots and an emotional roller coaster for Elizabeth and Hamish. Elizabeth St. Claire dreads the Season having to deal with arrogant and sometimes smelly lords all vieing for her hand. She feels nothing for any of them. No man stirs her passion until two Scotsman arrive to act as their guardians on behalf of the duke who could not attend the Season himself. Elizabeth is immediately taken with Hamish and he with her.
This book has it all–drama, misunderstandings, love scenes, and banter between a number of characters. Ms. York is a talented author who knows how to keep the reader engaged in the story. The plot moved along at a good pace and I couldn’t wait to see if Elizabeth and Hamish would finally get their happy endings. If you enjoy Regency romances with a dash of Scots, you’ll love this book.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
I will never be able to get enough of Sabrina York’s Highlanders! Another great story from Her Royal Hotness! Highly recommend to anyone who loves a good historical romance or for fans of romantic tales full of adventure, love and a wee bit of snark 😉
Oh, this was so much fun to read…it had me chuckling all the way through. Sabrina has a gift and I have got to make it a priority to read her backlist, especially Nobel Passions series. Many of these characters spill from that series into the Untamed Highlanders. Thank you Sabrina and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC in exchange for this review.
If you remember the new Duke of Caithness is Lachlan from Lana and the Laird #3. Well, he’s got 4 distant cousin sisters who have been orphaned and he want’s to give them their season in London so they can find husbands. His beloved Lana is expecting so he sends two if his faithful men to oversee their seasons making sure they are well protected. Can you imagine the stir in the Ton of two “wild” highlanders in kilts attending the season’s events? They are not well accepted since they don’t have the title of Duke but tolerated. I’m afraid Baron Ranald Gunn and Hamish Robb and too much fun appearing “fierce” for the 4 sisters and scaring off the “unsavory” suitors after money and the Duke’s favored family. What I enjoyed besides Sabrina’s delightful turn of phrase now and then was that each of the 4 sisters get their HEA in this book. And that each had to happen in the order that they did in order for the next sister to find her HEA. This book is primarily about Elizabeth St. Claire and Hamish Robb fighting their attraction. Hamish doesn’t feel worthy of Lady Elizabeth since he has no title and is under the mistaken idea that Elizabeth want to live like the London Ton. She has no tolerance for the Ton and only wants the wilds of Scotland where she visited as a teen and fell in love with the land and it’s people. There are so many quotes I saved and I will add them to my quotes page instead of here but this book is so colorful and chuckle worthy!

Overall Rating:
This book Center’s on the four St. Claire sisters Elizabeth, Anne, Victoria and Mary. They are orphans and live with Lady Esmeralda their chaperone. All related to the Scot, the Duke of of Caithness. He is a distant cousin, their benefactor who has financed their season. He would like to find them all good husbands, as he has also provided them all with generous dowries. Unfortunately he cannot oversee and protect them as he would like, his wife Lana is expecting their first child. So he has sends Scottish friends Hamish Robb and Ranald Robb in his place to escort, guard , and protect the ladies and inspect, approve or disapprove their suitors.
This book’s heroine is Elizabeth, Hamish Robb is the swoon worthy Scottish hero.
Elizabeth absolutely doesn’t care about titles. Elizabeth hasn’t been to Scotland since she was a child but knows she would rather live their than England. Lord Twiggenberry her suitor is a great match. A man she feels nothing for! Elizabeth wants a love match and when she meets Hamish she knows he is exactly the kind of man she wants. Elizabeth doesn’t care about titles or the ton or society think! She just wants a man she could love and will love her back. Elizabeth is instantly attracted to her guard Hamish. Hamish is also attracted to Elizabeth but trying to keep his distance doing the honorable thing. Plus he doesn’t feel he is good enough she being a titled Lady and he being beneath her or has anything to offer her.
Will this star crossed couple be able to overlook their obstacles and social class differences? Will love win or social pressure from groups such as the ton win? You must read to find out more anyone who is a little rebellious will l absolutely love this story! I know I am and I did!
Magnificent setting phenomenal dialogue and twisting plot lines was absolutely brilliant! A fast page riveting adventure filled with mystery, supsense, social class differences, steamy passion, love and more!
I highly recommend this spectacular read from start to finish! Another Captivating story historical romance readers will love!

There are also secondary characters also have delightful stories with Scot, Ranald Gunn, Baron of Bower and Bookish eldest sister Anne. Plus also sisters Laura and Mary are hit with the love bug as well. Yes there are plots within plots in this enthralling novel.

The Highlander Is All That by Sabrina York
Untamed Highlanders #3.5
The St. Claire sisters find themselves on the marriage market in London waiting for their cousin, a Scottish Duke, to arrive to make their entrance into society of greater standing. He does not show up and instead sends two Scotsmen in his place to act as guards. Four sisters will eventually find men to love but perhaps not with men they thought they would end up with when the season begins. There is romance and a kidnapping or two. There are kisses, and glamour and chases to save the kidnapped and balls with dances and beautiful outfits and wanted suitors and unwanted suitors and surprises that try to put monkey wrenches into the plans for happiness…until…the monkeys wielding the wrenches are removed.
The writing is well done and fun. The characters are varied and easy to dis/like. The couples are perfect for one another. The difficulties to overcome are believable. At the end of the story I was left feeling all had come right for the St. Claire sisters and their cousin AND some of the side characters mentioned caught my reader’s eye and made me wonder if they had stories already written that might be available for me to read.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press-Swerve – This is my honest review.
