Jake Silver may not be able to put the memories of his time as a sniper and Navy SEAL behind him, but at least he can put his skills to use as a part of the Jones Inc. rescue team. Saving the life of pediatric heart surgeon Dr. Aria Sinclair on Denali helped too. Now he can’t get her out of his head, and when he hears she is in the path of a hurricane down in Key West he can’t help but jump on a … a plane to rescue her.Aria has dedicated her life to helping children born with defective hearts. After all, she was one of those children. Now driven to succeed, she lives a lonely, stressful life. One she would have lost on Denali if it hadn’t been for Jake. Jake is exciting and handsome, but he’s also dangerous, and she’s already lost one person she loves. She can’t bear it again. It’s not until she finds herself trapped in the middle of a category 4 hurricane that she can admit she needs Jake desperately. With their very survival in the balance, can they hope for a second chance at life . . . and love?

The true hero’s heart is revealed in the eye of the storm
Aria lived her life in order to repay her twin sister’s gift to her – her heart. She always felt that Kia was the brave one, the one who lived big while she was the practical one who merely watched others live their lives. Whenever Aria showed bravery, she attributed it to Kia’s heart. . .
Jake had the heart of a hero – he couldn’t help but step in and rescue those in trouble. Yet he was certainly a wounded hero, suffering from guilt and nightmares for the things he saw and did in Afghanistan. He felt that he needed to atone for his mistakes.
Both Jake and Aria needed to understand grace. To realize that there is no way to earn it – by its very definition a gift is undeserved. Forgiveness freely given at the cost of sacrifice.
As these two weathered the hurricane called Lucy surrounded by those they had rescued, they fought multiple storms as Aria worked to save the lives of the people left on Key West medically while Jake attempted to keep everyone safe from those seeking to harm them. Susan May Warren described the hurricane vividly and realistically, making me feel as if I was there.
Other stories intertwined with Jake and Aria’s story as presented here. Characters and mysteries from not only the first book in the Global Search and Rescue series but also from The Montana Marshalls are woven throughout. There was one part in the story where a character was referenced and it seemed like I should have known his backstory. But I couldn’t remember who he was. It didn’t necessarily affect my understanding of what was happening but I was a little frustrated, feeling like there should have been at least a hint of who he was and how he tied in.
If you enjoy high adventure and suspense, Heart of a Hero is a book you won’t want to miss. The events in this story take place concurrently with those in The Montana Marshalls and I recommend reading those stories before these so you can better understand what is going on with the investigation Ham is doing here. And be ready for the conclusion to this series October, 2020!

THE HEART OF A HERO…Susan May Warren
A stage 4 hurricane is coming and rescuer Jake goes after Ava, now they both are trapped. We meet Ham’s little girl, still not speaking. And how he is struggling with the past. Feeling lost as to how to communicate and take care of this little girl. They all have a past and dealing with those issues.
A good story of life for these people and getting to know them and the work they do. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion y. Et ?Galley and Revell.
I have a warning for readers – once you start this book, you will not want to put it down!! This is a rollercoaster (or should I say hurricane coaster) ride. In this Global Search and Rescue book, Jake Silver heads to Florida where Dr. Aria Sinclair is attending a conference – just as a hurricane is getting ready to hit! They both try to survive not only a hurricane but excaped prisoners as well! And they also have other survivors depending on them to stay alive. I especially like the character of Mimi. There is also some romantic and faith struggles going on as well. Another great book by Susan May Warren. I received an advance copy from the publisher but all opinions are my own.
First thank you, Susan May Warren for writing another beautiful story. I did not want it to end.
Aria met Jake when the rock climb she went on with her girlfriends went horribly wrong and they got stuck on a mountain & Jake and his friends were called in to rescue them. Jake & Aria ended up stuck together on the side of that mountain for 2 additional days. But since then they had no contact with one another even though they live very close to each other.
Now Aria and Jake are attending the birthday party for the daughter of one of their mutual friends. While there they talk a little and Jake suggests that she take a vacation so she enrolls for the medical conference being held in Miami. Sun & fun! But Aria has not been watching the news or weather. But once she sees clouds start moving into the area she realizes that this could be bad.
Jakes family is watching the news and the coverage of the hurricane and Jake immediately starts calling Aria but she is not answering. After a few more calls he makes the decision to hop a flight and go down. Once down there he immediately begins searching for her.
Aria refused to leave on what turned out to be the last chopper, instead choosing to stay behind for 2 ladies she met that could not travel. Once he finds Aria they look for a place to hold up and that place ended up being the hospital where the medical conference was held and where he found Aria helping to evacuate & just as the chopper leaves again ( with the promise it returns for her) Jake shows up and a couple of people who could not travel. Jake was slightly stunned, she had chosen to remain.
While Aria and Jake are working together to help the people who stayed behind, the chemistry and attraction they feel continues to grow. Will they be able to get out of their own way to let God work in them both individually and as a couple?
This is the second in the “Global Search and Rescue” series. The first one was “The Way of the Brave” which I also wrote a review on. These books are one of those series that you definitely want to read in order because they are the same characters from book to book even though the main characters switch between the group of friends. So I have to say that I really enjoyed the first book and was looking forward to this one; however, I didn’t expect to enjoy this book as much as I did. I knew that I would like it but I didn’t just like it, I loved it! This book had so much action in it! Susan May Warren did an amazing job of developing the characters and the plot in this book to the point where it was better than the first one. I am really wishing that the next one in the series was already available because I just want to know the rest of the story! I highly recommend this book to anyone!
Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book in order to give an honest review.
Picking up just one week after the events of the previous book in the series, The Way of the Brave, The Heart of a Hero follows Jake and Aria as they are pushed to their limits and their skills challenged by the devastation of a Category 4 hurricane on a populated island.
I loved how this book digs deeper into who Jake and Aria are beneath all the layers, beyond who others perceive them as well as the pressures and standards that they hold for themselves. Jake has a reputation as something of a player, but under it all he is a courageous and honorable man, I admired how he was ready to jump into the fray and do what needed to be done. Aria is cautious, yet has been walking more on the wild side in recent years, I loved her passion for serving others.
I also liked how we get to see a different side of Ham, as he is faced with life changing revelations, we see a softer side of him. I am figuratively dying to read his story! We also meet Mimi and Yola who are fantastic friends to Aria and Jake, I loved Mimi’s steady faith and words of encouragement.
This author never disappoints, I haven’t ever read a book by her that I don’t like, and this one is no exception. Jake and Aria are thrust into the heart of a natural disaster, and I liked how they come to trust one another and how they both grow over the course of the book. There is a lot going on, with one thing after another, making this book pretty much impossible to put down. A fast paced, tension fraught read, with fantastic protagonists that I couldn’t help but cheer for all the way through. Would definitely recommend reading The Way of the Brave first as Jake and Aria’s story starts there, and reading it before this one adds a lot more context. Highly recommend this series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
“I am forgiven, I am clean. I am loved.” Flawed and heartfelt characters with a very exciting and page turner story made this book amazing. I received a copy through Netgalley and this is my unbiased opinion.
I’m so glad I finally got to read Jake and Aria’s story! The second book in Susan May Warren’s Global Search and Rescue series was full of everything I love. Action, suspense, and romance. Pediatric heart surgeon, Aria Sinclair, and former Navy-Seal, Jake Silver are brought back together again while a hurricane wreaks havoc on Key West. A fight for survival and a second chance will either destroy them or make them stronger. Susan May Warren does a fantastic job of weaving past, present, and future characters that will leave you wanting more!
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion
The Heart Of A Hero by Susan May Warren is a fabulous contemporary Christian adventure suspense. It is the second book in the Global Search And Rescue series which promises to be thrilling.
Once again Susan May Warren has created a marvellous set of characters who will lodge in your heart and soul. The novel can be read as a stand-alone, however if you have read some of Susan May Warren’s other series, familiar faces do pop up.
The novel’s main themes are those of search and rescue (hence the series) – literally as characters are facing a hurricane, and also spiritually. God searches for us and rescues us from a life of disconnection from Him. “God always shows up in a storm.” No matter where we go, no matter what we’ve done, God longs for each and every one of us to know Him. Susan May Warren uses the literary device of pathetic fallacy. As the storm rages around characters threatening to disrupt lives, a spiritual battle rages within.
God says we are loved but we do not always listen to His voice. “Start blessing yourself instead of cursing yourself. Tell yourself the truth… I am loved.” We need to silence the lies from the enemy and see ourselves as God sees us.
We cannot work our way into God’s good books because our name is already there. Only by His grace are we in His book of life. We do not earn our place, it is a gift freely given.
We cannot stop life happening to us but we can always choose how to respond. There is always the choice to do the right thing but we do not always choose it.
Forgiveness is a major theme. God forgives. Others forgive. Why do we find it so hard to forgive ourselves? “You need to forgive yourself.”
God heals hearts. There is both spiritual and physical healing within the story.
As the novel closes, Susan May Warren has left it perfectly poised for book three – and I cannot wait to read that.
I received this book for free. A favourable review was not required and all views expressed are my own.
My belief in a hero/heroine is when someone gives up whatever they’re doing at the moment to help others.
Jake Silver is just such a person! I’d be happy to have him rescue me anytime./anywhere! Such a magnificent and caring man! I loved him from the beginning of this story.
But, we really can’t forget the true hero and that is Jesus Christ the One who died for us. He took it upon himself to die for our sons so that we might have eternal life. That’s really my true Hero. You see, He was willing to drop everything and do this for us.
I like the theme of forgiveness too. If Jesus can forgive us then why is it so hard to forgive ourselves? It’s because we can’t see past the end of our nose and too stubborn to admit that we’re wrong at times.
There’s certain events in life that are out of our control just like in Jake Silver’s and Aria’s but she was smart enough to know about the Lord.
Aria reminds me of me at times. Stubborn, rushes into things.
I really hate how she runs Jake down, and she always wants to do things herself not wanting to except help from anyone.
I wanted to kick her butt at times. But in times of trouble or sickness I’d want her to be with me and my caretaker cause she’s quite good at what she does!
She has a condition much like mine. So I guess you can say that we connected in some sort of way.
I liked this novel because it was packed with action and adventure and I really enjoyed all of those components to make a fabulous read. This is just what Susan May Warren does! It’s her style of writing.
I loved this one better than the Way of the Brave. Hurricanes are so much more interesting.
I finished this book in a couple of hours because I didn’t want to leave the characters behind. I don’t like to say goodbye!
I give this book 5 stars for a well written novel and I will be looking forward to book 3.
I strongly recommend this book for anyone who wants action/adventure. You’ll not be disappointed.
My thanks to Netgalley and Revell/Just Reads Tours for a copy of this awesome book.
3.5 stars
“Panic comes when we stop believing that God is good. Or, that God is sovereign. But he is both, and that is the key to peace, even in the midst of the grief, or fear. Whatever storm life brings.”
It seems that every time Dr. Aria Sinclair goes on vacation, that she ushers in a storm. . . . and not just any storm, a Category Five hurricane storm . . . on an island . . . in the middle of the ocean. Equally as jarring is the fact that Jake Silver keeps showing up in the middle of it all, just when she needs him the most. And Aria despises being needy. So, why does she insist on running straight into his arms with reckless abandon? Why?!
Jake kind of likes it when Aria needs him. . . . okay more than likes it, if the truth were known. Even if her call for help was misunderstood, trying to survive a brutal Key West storm with sick and injured patients, while hunkering down in a deserted island hospital, calls for back-up. But what about when the winds stop blowing and the rains stop falling . . what then, Aria Sinclair and Jake Silver? What then?
As Aria and Jake continue their on-again, off-again attraction, a curious thing happens, God settles their hearts. Meanwhile, the battle to get off the island is about to take a turn for the worse.
The Susan May Warren that I have loved for years shows back up in this book. The pace is a bit more settled, the characters have time to properly introduce themselves, and the spiritual depth is absolutely point on, which pleases me . . . . . because this series is far from over.
I received a copy of this book from Baker Publishing through Interviews and Reviews. The opinions stated above are entirely my own.
Whew. What an incredible ride! I’m convinced Susan May Warren can’t write a bad book.
“Panic comes when we stop believing God is good. Or, that God is sovereign. But he is both, and that is the key to peace, even in the midst of the grief, or fear. Whatever storm life brings. “
Susan May Warren’s The Heart of A Hero primarily follows ex Navy SEAL, Jake Silver and pediatric cardio thoracic surgeon, Aria Sinclair. Readers of Susan’s stories were first introduced to these characters in book one of her Global Search and Rescue series, titled The Way of The Brave.
In this book Aria and Jake find themselves in Key West in the middle of a Category 5 hurricane. As a Floridian, who has lived through multiple hurricanes through the years, Susan did a spot-on job of describing the event. That and the local jargon surrounding it – Mimi and Yola discussing evacuating vs. staying is pretty much every Floridian ever. The story grabbed me from the first chapter and had me on the edge of my seat until the last line.
Jake is such a loveable and heroic character – what a man of action! He’s the guy running toward danger to save those in need when everyone else is running away. The man he is and the guilt he carries around is fueled by tragedy stemming from childhood. Aria was a tough nut – a brilliant doctor who saves lives, but lives, or rather barely lives with the lies she tells herself. Both Jake and Aria have their own journeys toward accepting the truth of who Christ says they are in Him – forgiven. Their individual and mutual arcs are beautifully written.
This book was full of twists I didn’t see coming, action that kept me turning page after page. The biblical message of God’s sovereignty even in the storms of life was beautiful. Can I just say this, Jake’s family is just the best. His relationship with his sisters, particularly, Ellie was just so sweet. Also, the “side” characters Jake and Aria meet along the way are fully fleshed, multi-dimensional people. Hats off to Susie for making me feel as if I actually knew, not only the main characters, but even the peripheral ones. I have my sneaking suspicions about one of the side characters Jake and Aria met in Florida – I am looking forward to seeing what Susie has up her sleeve there.
We are also given another glimpse into Ham’s story in this book. Spoilers are the worst, so I’ll say this – October can’t come fast enough. I need Ham’s story, The Price of Valor like now. No really, like NOW. Ham is such a godly man and the parts of his past and the current story Susan touched on in this story had me turning page after page. In signature Susan May Warren fashion, we are left on a cliff hanger that had me looking something like this . I sat there, book in hand just trying to digest it all.
The Heart of A Hero was an incredible story. The perfect mixture of Christian faith, suspense, action, romance, familial love, humor and a dash of mystery.
*I was given an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
Jake Silver, former SEAL, rescued Dr. Aria Sinclair and he hasn’t been able to forget their time together. Aria is a well-known pediatric surgeon and when she loses a patient she is devastated. Her boss sends her to a conference and vacation in Key West which unknowingly puts her in the path of a category four hurricane. When Aria texts Jake by mistake, instead of his sister, Jake heads for Key West knowing that she might be in trouble. As they are holed up with several others escaping the hurricane’s rage, they will battle the elements to stay alive. A pulse pounding and non-stop adventure as Jake’s SEAL training may be the only thing that will help them survive. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)
Best-selling author Susan May Warren continues her action-packed romantic suspense series with this second book in her latest series.
Inu202fThe Heart of a Hero, ruggedly handsome and equally dangerous Jake Silver uses his miltary skills as a part of Jones Inc. Rescue Team. He can’t forget He also can’t forget his memories as a Navy SEAL, or pediatric heart surgeon Dr. Aria Sinclair, whose life he saved on Denali (see The Way of the Brave). When he discovers Aria is in the path of a hurricane headed towards Key West, he can’t resist trying to rescue her.
Aria dedicates herself to helping children with defective hearts, especially since she had a heart transplant. Aria drives herself to succeed professionally, and pushes herself to live the life her donor would have lived by engaging in challenging physical activities like mountain climbing. Both Jake and Area are drawn to one another, but also to saving others. What happens when they are stranded on the Keys with no way off, and a Cat-4 hurricane is headed for them?
Reading The Heart of a Hero is like riding a roller coaster – one can barely catch one’s breath when the next sharp turn or big drop happens! Like Warren’s other books, this one has faith journeys, adventure, suspense, romance, AND realistic & flawed characters whose stories captivate the reader from the first page.
Readers will be engaged until the very end, which includes a tease for the next book in this series, The Price of Valor, coming later this year.

Disclaimer: Book reviews are written for books I either purchased or received free of cost from the publishers, publicists, or authors. I voluntarily reviewed this book, and my review represents my honest opinion.
I know I say this every time I read a new Susan May Warren book, but I can’t believe how her stories keep getting better and better! This book continues Jake and Aria’s story that began in The Way of the Brave, so we were able to jump right into the story. And of course, the action starts right from the beginning and doesn’t let up!
Jake and Aria are thrust into yet another life-threatening situation, only weeks after they escaped an avalanche on Denali. Jake truly has the heart of a hero, as he rushes to find Aria the moment he thinks she’s in danger. The twists and turns keep coming, with danger lurking around every corner. Jake and Aria are both forced to come to terms with some hard truths about themselves and their pasts, as they work together to ride out the storm.
The internal challenges Jake and Aria face are just as intense as their external circumstances, as Warren blends her signature character development with heart-stopping action. I feel just as much like I’m inside Jake and Aria’s minds, feeling their pain and their joy, as I am in the middle of that hurricane in Key West. I also loved reading more about Jake’s family, especially Ellie – no one writes about family dynamics better! And after learning more of Ham’s story, and after that cliffhanger at the end…let’s just say October (and the release of The Price of Valor) can’t get here soon enough! This book (and series) is not to be missed!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and publisher. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
The Heart of a Hero, reunites us with our Global Search and Rescue family. Picking up on relationships we built in the first book, The Way of the Brave, this one focuses on the stormy one between Jake Silver and Aria Sinclair. But here’s the deal, this is so much more than adventure. This is so much more than romance. This is…
Aria has been fighting all her life just to thrive, sometimes just to survive. But what really makes her Aria? And why can’t she shake the need to be a bit Kia, as well?
Jake is the devil. Or is he? And he knows about grace, but is he really worthy?
And the bigger question: Are we defined by one part of who we are or by the whole? By our vision of ourselves or by God’s?
When Jake and Aria are caught in the storm, what’s left in the aftermath is well worth reading The Heart of A Hero. There’s beauty to be found among the destruction, because sometimes we have to be broken to find the truth.
Thank you to Susan May Warren and to the publisher for allowing me a copy to read and review. Please know, dear reader, that the opinions stated in this review are my own and are completely unbiased.
I Can Do This, One Breath At A Time, With God!
Master Storyteller, Susan May Warren has written another Nail Bitter, Action/Adventure, Christian, Romantic Suspense Novel in, “The Heart of a Hero (Global Search and Rescue Book 2)”. This is mainly Jake and Aria’s story, but characters from Book 1 are in this one too.
SMW explores the differing perspectives in: Hero vs. Hazard, Quick Acting vs. Danger Seeker, Faith vs. Fear, and Worthy vs. Unworthy. Both Aria & Jake struggle with these things, as it appies to their Relationship. How does God get them to their Forever ? I Highly Recommend you Get Lost in this , Outstanding, Engrossing Novel, to find out!
This was a great book. Lots of suspense and a tiny bit of mystery. The main hero is Jake and he has quite the story to tell. He’s still riddled with guilt for letting his sister disappear all those years ago. But more recently the guilt of killing a young boy who he thought was a terrorist. He’s beginning to think he might be the devil others say he is.
Aria comes with her own baggage. She’s a heart transplant survivor after her twin dies and gives her her heart. Her guilt comes from surviving and she’s still trying to figure out whether she should follow her heart or follow the heart of the sister who’s heart is in her. As a pediatric surgeon, she sees death but the most recent one has her reeling.
This is a wonderful book with several different plots and subplots to go with it. And the ending! Man, I’m so ready for the next book! I read this series out of order though because this is the one I started with and it’s the second book in the series. I really think I need to go back and read the first one. With reading them out of order I can say there were a few holes that I had to fill in but mostly this is a stand-alone that combines with the other books in the series. I would recommend you read them in order though.
This book in one that I can highly recommend. You’ll definitely want to read this one! I think Aggie is one of my favorite characters though and I can’t wait to find out more about her and her father’s story in the next book.
Jake is strong and brave. He and Aria had some kind of a relationship in book one which I missed not reading that book. But you can tell something happened and both are trying to avoid it though they secretly love each other. Aria goes to Florida to have a vacation only to be caught in a hurricane. She mistakenly texts Jake instead of her friend Jenny that she’s sick and wishes he were there. So what does he do? Of course, he hops a flight and gets there ASAP. Lucky for them all he does.
A great book that read really fast. I didn’t want to put it down. Now I’m off to get the first book and preorder the third so I can read it as soon as it comes out!
I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from JustRead Publicity Tours. All views expressed are only my honest opinion. I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way. All opinions expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the FTC regulations.
“I know grace is difficult to accept. It’s in our nature to want to bargain for our redemption, as if we have a stake in it. But it’s an all-or-nothing proposal. You can do nothing but receive it. All or nothing. I am forgiven. I am clean. I am loved.”
Susan May Warren yet again weaves a heart-pounding tale laced with romance and brimming with spiritual truths but this time set on an island off Florida in the midst of a hurricane. This is book 2 in the series and I suggest reading the series in order to catch and appreciate all the nuisances in the plot and character development. Eagle-eyes will see some neat comments about characters from her previous two series (Montana Marshalls and Montana Rescue), which is super-fun for fans of the author.
The adrenaline-filled action and suspense come from surviving a hurricane and the aftermath on an island, which is a bit different from scaling an icy mountain in Alaska (which happened in The Way of the Brave). Jake proves himself a true hero who “does the hard thing despite the cost” while scrounging for supplies, helping Aria stabilize the wounded, fighting off bad guys, and rescuing multiple people stranded during the storm. Jake is impulsive, smart, wickedly resourceful, a man of action but unexpectedly sensitive and tender. Yet he has a troubled past and needs to accept forgiveness. I really enjoyed getting to know Jake’s large family and hope that we’ll see more of the Silver family in the future books.
Aria is a pediatric cardiac surgeon who excels at work but lacks confidence in who she is in her personal life. Haunted by her twin sister’s memory who lived life so differently, she must come to terms with who God has made her to be. Jake and Aria’s love is passionate and all-consuming but also self-sacrificial and they challenge each other to be better and to strive for more.
And Ham! I am hanging onto the edge of my seat for Ham’s full story to unfold. Some of his backstory is told in this book and that’s just a carrot dangling until The Price of Valor releases in October!
I don’t know how Susan May Warren does it (and I say this every time I read her newest release), but she ramps up the quality of her novels with each new book. If you enjoy contemporary romance with plenty of action, you will love this book and series. The book will grab you from the first page with its raw, heartfelt writing, intense action sequences, deeply-layered and complex characters worthy of your love, and spiritual truths that we all need to remember.
I received a copy of the book from Revell/Baker Publishing via JustRead Publicity Tours and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All comments and opinions are solely my own.
“I know. You can’t help but be a hero.”
Buckle up, Buttercup…Susan May Warren could coin the term adventure. Whew! From the first to the last page she wrings out every moment into a roller coaster ride of action, adventure, and romantic suspense. She is my go to for a good book, and this one seriously was so full of action I had to stop and take multiple breaks! In “The Heart of A Hero,” she takes us around the world, but the main story is into a hurricane on the Florida Keys. Thankfully, our hero shows up in the nick of time…
“Because the man just stood there like some kind of mythical hero, a knight fighting fire-breathing dragons and the hounds of the underworld. His chest rose and fell, his blue eyes fierce in hers, pinning her to the spot.”
Once a SEAL and always a rescuer at heart, we meet Jake’s family and see a deeper level as to who he is. Then he goes to rescue Aria in the midst of a storm, whether she wants his help or not. I love how real Warren is about human behavior in the midst of danger with this couple. Their relationship runs hot and cold. However, this couple has sparks that fly off the page.
Another thing I enjoyed is how Warren gives us a glimpse of characters from prior series. It just makes me want to go back and start her books all over again. Ham is also on the search for the truth regarding his wife’s death and the daughter left in his care. This adds another level of mystery I can’t wait to see unfold in the future.
Seriously, this book blew me away in more ways than one. The action, the adventure, the multilayered storyline, and the romance is well, just intense. Don’t miss it! All the feels with laugh out loud one liners and the banter between Jake and Aria had me cracking up. The spiritual aspect is beautiful as well with a deeper level of meaning in the midst of hurricane weather…
“Lord, your Word says that when we pass through the waters, you will be with us. That they will not sweep over us. And it’s true.”
As this couple survives one calamity after another, they must overcome their weaknesses and fears. They learn to depend on each other more as they see a deeper message behind it all…that we are forgiven, loved, and how God wants us to live our lives to the fullest. This series is for anyone who loves mystery, adventure, romance and a deeper meaning behind it all.
I received a copy of the book through NetGalley by the publisher. All opinions have been given honestly.
