The HealerRise of the Pride, Book 7Harold Blackwell, the pride’s healer, never imagined he’d be working to save the enemy. He took an oath the day he graduated from human medical school; to learn how to care for the sick and injured, but he never planned on saving a wolf.Luna Ray was scared and alone when she was rescued from the labs that studied shifters. Her family had been slaughtered by the … been slaughtered by the Community, but her life was spared when she was saved by a panther. Harold doesn’t want to have feelings for the wolf, but his panther demands he do everything in his power to heal Luna inside and out. The more time they spend together, the easier it is to accept fate when he touches her for the first time.
*This is a novella and should be read in order with the other books in series.

This is the 7th book in the Rise of the Pride – a series that I just love to read! I am so glad Harold, the pride’s doctor, finally found his mate, even though it was the last thing he expected. Luna, was being held hostage with other shifter’s and comes to the Shaw Pride after the guardians saved Luna and the others from their captivity. What starts out as concern for his patient quickly develops into much more. Harold, was always present as the pride’s healer in the previous books and I loved getting to know him better. Luna isn’t a panther but can’t deny what her wolf his feeling for the healer. Great addition to the series, especially considering Harold’s connection to all the panthers of the pride. This book was not as suspenseful as the other books, but I have a feeling both Harold and Luna will be important for what is still to come.
I received an Advanced Readers copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Yes, Harold the Healer gets his own book. Let me just say that he is deserving of finding his mate for all that he does for the pride. This man has manages to keep his cool with some of the males in this pride. He is patient and knowledgeable. If he doesn’t know something he will find out. So when a female white wolf is brought to him from being rescued he helps her out. Now keep in mind that wolfs and panthers do not get along so this is a challenge for him. He is a healer so he will do what he can to help her. I love to see how Harold manages his temper around this wolf. However, fate somehow works her magic and things are seen with eyes wide open. What will these two do when they find out what fate has done? Well I can say that there is a happily ever after. This is a quick read and very enjoyable.

New details about wolf shifters! White wolves and self healing hmmmm. It makes sense that Luna and Harold were mates. Looking for the next chapter in their story, little ones? Wolf or panther cubs!
This is the seventh book in the series and they need to be read in order. Pride is back from a rescue mission.
This is Harold the packs healer’s book. His love comes in an unusual form. As soon as Harold sees her his panther knows she is their mate. But how can she, when she is a wolf and he is a panther. What starts out as concern for his patient quickly develops into much more.
Luna is trying to recover from her time as a hostage. She also knows right away that Harold is her mate. She also knows she is different than other wolves. She is now the last of her kind.
Loved this book and I’m loving the series. I cant wait for the next book.
Good, but way too brief. Needs to be fleshed out much more.
This is Book 7 in the Rise of the Pride series. Luna was rescued by the Pride from a very bad situation. She meets Harold, who is the pride’s doctor. She’s a rare white wolf which makes for a very unusual scenario in the story. This was more of a sweet love story than the other books in the series. Theresa Hissong tells us a lot in this short story. The only thing that might have made it better is if she could have written another 10,000 pages. We can never have too much of the Pride. I loved it and it makes another great addition to the Pride series. Now we have the wait until we get another book telling us about the lives of the men and women in the Pride. If you enjoy reading a paranormal book, then you definitely need to read this series.
I have always been curious about Harold ( The Healer) throughout the series. I thought he was super sexy. Well, this book did not disappoint and was worth the wait! I loved Harold and Luna’s story as well as catching snippets about what is happening to the rest of the Pride. It was romantic, sexy, drama, mystery and also opens the door for cross species mating. WooHoo!! If you love shifter novels and haven’t read this series then I would recommend The Rise of the Pride 100%.
