Do not start reading this book in the evening unless you intend to be up all night. Disturbing because it deals with pedophilia, but the story is well-constructed and entertaining.
The subject matter was a little hard to handle, yet brings lot to light and well worth reading. A lot of intrigue and sadness.
great book
very good book
Very powerful story. Well written.
A bit predictable but an action packed and easy read story.
Love it
This is an amazing book by a great writer! I have already bought the next 2 books. It truly is a cut above the average. Interesting plot, extremely well written. A look at the evil world we all know is out there.
A very entertaining book…tragic how Westerners treat people of other cultures
The book was a bit tongue in cheek however the plot was very original the characters were funny and I enjoyed it very much
Fast paced read full of action, twists and turns. Kept the pages turning.
Original story well written.
Excellent book – a tabloid reporter in England writes about a murdered pedophile after her hacker brother gets the details, and the dead pedophiles like minded friends are not too happy about it.
don’t usually like time jumping sequences in novels but this one developed the multiple characters so well & the time frames were ‘short’ ; well, I could easily follow without losing interest or understanding. If more than 5 STARS were available I would have graded higher A page turner for sure. Haunting in that it’s subject is all too ‘actual’
Very interesting read, there are places in the world that are evil and ugly. Made me count my blessings and hug my granddaughter tight.
I liked reading this book very good very well written
One of the best books I’ve read in a long time.
Love the guy killing children molesters. This is what should be done to all pedifials including religious freaks.
Who but Will Patching could undertake a topic that this book brings to the eyes of everyone could do a better job? No one I can think of!! International organizations, high powered folks who have powers to cover up such, lifelike characters who address those issues in varied ways, and is an action packed, page turner you will NOT soon forget, and hopefully won’t because that evil stuff actually exists around the world even though written about very well in The Hack, via a vehicle of fiction, the TRUTH of the matter IS, it is very real. And Mr. Patching brings that “REAL” to life in The Hack!! I SO recommend The Hack to all readers. Very worthwhile read, and thrilling and exciting read at that. And..more to come much to this readers delight!
A decent story which counted on happenstance more than I’d like and naivete was a little high. The human interactions were not a stretch and held the story together. I assume the jumping back and forth toward the end was for drama, I am not a fan of that technique. These also included time shifts – even a bigger non fan. Otherwise, most of the premise was reasonable and moved at a good pace.
