The #1 “New York Times” bestselling dramatic serial novel and inspiration for the Oscar-nominated film of the same name starring Tom Hanks, the “literary event” (“Entertainment Weekly”) of “The Green Mile” is now available in its entirety. When “The Green Mile” first appeared, serialized as one volume per month, Stephen King’s “The Green Mile” was an unprecedented publishing triumph: all six … six volumes ended up on the “New York Times” bestseller list–simultaneously–and delighted millions of fans the world over.

Excellent
One of the best King stories ever…tight and flawless.
Awesome
I really enjoyed this book.
King at his best
I love Stephen King, have for years. I think this is the first book of his that I read that I thought wasn’t very scary…you know, typical Stephen King. It was very good though, and saw the movie as well. I’m also a huge fan of Tom Hanks so that made it a double must-see!
I originally bought this book when it first came out in installments, short paperback books about once a month until the entire book was out. I also have the full book. I LOVED it. It was different than the typical Stephen King book
Do not watch the screen adaptation. This is meant to be read. READ THIS BOOK!!
There is a reason for his last name. Stephen IS King!!!
Who knew Stephen King could make me cry?
Early Stephen King at his best. Great character building and an interesting and suspenseful story line. Don’t watch the movie until you have read the book.
One of Stephen King’s best books.
Possibly the best of Stephen King.
This book is the reason why I am a Stephen King fan.
One of my favorite Stephen King books.
I am far from the world’s biggest King fan. I can’t do horror. Not at all. But this book was spectacular. Such incredible writing, and such a well-put-together story. I enjoyed 11.22.63, and The Shawshank Redemption held me, but The Green Mile really got to me. You should give it a try, especially if King is not on your usual list of authors.
Very engaging characters and fantastic storyline. One of my favorites.
I read this book originally as a serial novel, as it was intended and loved the idea of waiting for each new book to come out. Sure I ended up paying more than I would have as a standalone novel, but it was fun and loved the story (and still do)
I read this novel in serial form before the movie came out. Strong King characters, strong King plot.
One of Stephen Kings. i bought it when it came out in serial form. Unfortunately I allowed on of my children to bring it to school. You know that ending. I would recommend this book to every one. Loved It!
