C.S. Lewis’ The Great Divorce is a classic Christian allegorical tale about a bus ride from hell to heaven. An extraordinary meditation upon good and evil, grace and judgment, Lewis’s revolutionary idea in the The Great Divorce is that the gates of Hell are locked from the inside. Using his extraordinary descriptive powers, Lewis’ The Great Divorce will change the way we think about good and … way we think about good and evil.

“The Great Divorce” is probably my favorite C.S. Lewis book. A wonderful study in the parts of human nature that often get overlooked or underappreciated.
It is C S Lewis, is there anything more to say? His explorations of faith and theology through alternate pathways always enlightens me and leads me to new depth and consequently new questions.
I love CS Lewis!
One of C.S.Lewis most joyful parables, yet while it is profound, it is a joy to read.
Not an easy read. Good book for theological discussions about heaven and hell.
