The search for a legendary automobile threatens the careers and lives of husband-and-wife team Sam and Remi Fargo in this thrilling new adventure in Clive Cussler’s bestselling series. In 1906, a groundbreaking Rolls-Royce prototype known as the Gray Ghost vanishes from the streets of Manchester, England, and it is only the lucky intervention of an American detective named Isaac Bell that prevents … Bell that prevents it from being lost forever. Not even he can save the good name of Jonathan Payton, however, the man wrongly blamed for the theft, and more than a hundred years later, it is his grandson who turns to Sam and Remi Fargo to help prove his grandfather’s innocence.
But there is even more at stake than any of them know. For the car has vanished again, and in it is an object so rare that it has the capacity to change lives. Men with everything to gain and a great deal to lose have a desperate plan to find it–and if anybody gets in their way? They have a plan for that, too.

A great mix of characters from different series, with Isaac bell and the fargos. Cannot wait for another Cussler novel
I really like this story because there was an Isaac Bell story inside this Fargo story. Fargos are such a fun and interesting series. Love Clive Cussler stories.
Love all the books in this series
Clive cuddled never fails to deliver. This story kept me guessing until the end.
I waited 4 months to get this book from my local library and it was well worth the wait. Finished it in 4 days so the next person could enjoy.
We had a cross over/combo from Clive Cussler’s Detective isaac bell to the cool husband and wife team sam and remi fargo. Cool cars, history and thrilling adventure forms this latest Fargo book.
Like all Clive Cussler books, this is a good one. I do get a little bored with the two characters in this series. They are somewhat predictable.
good blend of two characters from different series
As usual, a fun read from Clive Cussler.
Always enjoy Cussler!
Love his writing!!
All Cussler book are great it’s hard to choose what series is the best. high Adventure and action in this book. Great Reading
More like the old Cussler books than the last couple. Fairly predictable as usual but still very entertaining. If you like a relaxing action book with no deep moral thesis it’s just fine.
I love the Clive Cussler books and very creative how he brought Isaac Bell back into this one. A really excellent read.
Not as exciting as the usual Cussler fare and a bit slower paced than usual. Still a fun read but I just didn’t enjoy it as much as I usually do with a Cussler outing.
Clive cussler is a master story teller!
Loved the way the book flowed. Held you to the very end to figure out the ending
Another brilliant addition to the series
This is another brilliantly written addition to a great series. The plot manages to incorporate a character from another of Clive Cussler’s series of historical thrillers. The characters are portrayed, with the determination to overcome their foes, and bring a successful conclusion to their mystery. This is a great book that would be suitable for anybody who loves thrillers that have plenty of suspense.
Cussler books are always fun for the historical references and strange connections of the characters.
Another good Cussler Book
While you always have an idea how a Clive Cussler book will end, they always provide excellent writing and good entertainment.
