I love all of this author’s books. His stories are as compelling as Grisham’s and his characters equally fascinating. It’s an unusual take on the effects of politics on the family dynamics.
I am a Texan and had no idea about things going on in my on state and yes, in the US. The Mexicans and Americans along the border towns is sad but true. I actually did some research about this area after reading this book. I highly recommend this book as we try to understand our culture and those around us.
Very enjoyable. I would recommend this book.
This is a very fun read. Mark Gimenez is a Grisham-like talent, an excellent story teller. I am happy to have discovered his works.
Loved it!

Love this authors books.
A wonderful story.
Loved the characters–even the ones I hated! Fun, fresh, and different, with a thumbs up to the strength at the “underdog”. Giminez does it again
The characters were very well developed and you rooted for each one. I loved the story and the author is a great storyteller!
Introduced to a new author that I really enjoyed. Will read more by him
Excellent story. I highly recommend this book.
Excellent! With a twist.
I loved the story and characters. Plenty of intrigue, I couldn’t put it down. I like Mark Giminez style. I’ll continue to read his books
Made for Poly Wonks. I am one!
It fully displayed the mind set of citizens of Mesico who are still fighting the war to retain Texas as a pert of Mesico and the reson they are inundating the USAwith drugs.
The complex plot and wonderful characters made this book difficult to put down. Immensely enjoyable whether you’re a Texan or not!
I think iI was a very good book …involved Mexicans on the border and the police. I loved the interplay between the characters. Do read this book. It is encompassing !
