Psychological Suspense at its absolute finest! The Good Neighbors is a page turner and I was immediately hooked from the first page until the last. The Author takes you on the most thrilling ride, through twists and turns that you could never see coming. This story was on the edge of your seat captivating, intense, very well written, and with great character development. Now what are you waiting for go one-click The Good Neighbors, you won’t be disappointed.
Once I started this book, I could not put it down. I was feeling happy then outraged then really disappointed. When you read it you’ll know why. The Harper and Bryant, belong together. The other couple Tori and Jason, well they are another story altogether.
Harper and Bryant just moved to Lancaster Mills. Bryant was offered a job and he took it. Bryant is a teacher and harper works at a hospital. The neighbors Tori and Jason noticed them moving in, but something seemed off about them. Like they had secrets. Then things in Harper’s house start to get really weird. It’s like the neighbors are watching them. Bryant thinks it’s the neighbors causing the weird things to happen. Harper is not so sure about that, but they have to get to the bottom of it. Harper starts digging into the past of the neighbors. Then the unthinking happends . Is Tori and Jason behind all the weird things going on? Will Harper and Bryant be able to move past this and get on with their lives?
Kiersten Modglin has done it once again. I truly love her books. This book in Kiersten fashion, has twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. The mystery is beyond real. The ending I didn’t see coming. I love this book. I highly recommend this book. It will keep you on the edge on your seat.
OMG Kiersten Modglin never disappoints and The Good Neighbors is no exception. I have given up trying to figure out what comes next, because she is so good at letting you think you know what is coming then BAM! She pulls you in as if you are right there. I read this in one sitting because I could not put it down!!
The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin was a gripping psychological thriller, that had me hooked from start to finish.
Have you ever sat at the end of a book and just went, what the hell… what the hell? That was me, full on, not really comprehending how the author led me by the nose. This book was even told in dual POV and still managed to mislead you and catch you off guard. Again, what the hell?… (These are good, what the hells, BTW)
At first this book read like you’re normal romance, opens pretty clean, meet the creepy neighbours and what not. But then things got crazy, I mean, there is one scene were I’m like, that just happened, that really just happened. I felt for Harper, and it really shows you how things can get out of hand in an instance. It also shows the difference in loyalties, temptation and how when two people are presented with the same situation, that there are two totally different outcomes. Pretty freaking amazing if you ask me.
I can go one and on, but even if i get into character pros and cons, I might spoil something, as everything is so intertwine that one small thing might ruin the magic of this mine twisting thriller. Cause when you get to that plot twist/bomb, you’re not going to see it coming, and you’re going to be sitting there going, what the hell!?
So overall, yes, I loved this book, and yes I am going to be checking out more books by this crazy author, and yes, this book gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval.
Happy Reading
-E.A. Walsh

I loved this one! I was kept guessing all the way through! I shouldn’t be surprised though. I’ve been kept guessing until the very end with every book this author has written, and every time I am floored!! I will tell you, I came to strongly dislike Bryant and if you read this story, you’ll know exactly when and why I did. Another royal masterpiece from the Queen of Twist and Turns!!

The Good Neighbors is a must read!
Ok so not what I was expecting from Kiersten. This was different unique full of suspense twists turns shocking moments. Bryant and Harper moved into a new town and a new house. Both of them wanted to start a new life. But things are not at all what they seem. Something happens between Bryant and the neighbor Tori. After that strange things start happening to Bryant and Harper. But you will not believe who is actually doing it? I was on the edge of my seat with this one. Shocking moments that gripped me and had me wanting to know what was going to happen. Kiersten did an amazing job with this storyline and these characters. I freaking loved it and highly recommend it.
4 stars!!!
This is a new stand alone mystery (thriller). I am leaning toward mystery though.
This book created these main characters that you love to hate. Even the good guys, something felt wrong. I loved it. This book kept me guessing. I honestly did not see the ending. It was fun and super easy to read.
I was a little let down as to how it all came out. It was such a work up for me and then fell a little short. But the twists that followed were happy for me. The writing was excellent and flowed quite beautifully.
Looking for a good weekend read, here it is!!
** I received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review **
This was a fast read, so that is the reason for my rating. On the other hand, most of the book was predictable and not surprising at all. There was one surprise with Bryant at the end, but that was not a big enough surprise for me to give it a higher rating as a thriller. This was a good book in an Alfred Hitchcock kind of way. It makes you keep reading even though you have figured everything out. I was disappointed in the formulaic ending as well as the events that made Laura and Bryant went to leave their new home. The neighbors were evil, but not for the reasons and in the way that the reader is lead to believe. I would recommend this book for readers of mystery, but I want to add that there is not a lot of mystery here. The book could have been a novella and it would have been better since it would have come to a conclusion faster.

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin is a heart pounding suspense story that will make you feel like you have run a mile in under a minute. I felt drawn to this story from the beginning. Harper and Bryant Page are great characters. I really liked Harper’s soft heart and her determination to make something special in her marriage. There are quite a few unexpected twists and turns in this story that keep it moving. I did feel that there were a few loose ends. But on the whole, a great read. I was gifted a copy of this book.
Kiersten has done it again!!! I started this book and could not put it down. I stayed up late one night and back on it the first thing the next day… The story is one that will keep you wondering throughout and just when you think you have it figured out….. another turn.

But all will be revealed in time. If you love amazing Psychological Thrillers with twists then you need to read this book you will not be disappointed at all.
This book was so twisted and unpredictable, keeping you on your toes trying to figure it out, it was insane. By far the best work yet by Kiersten. When I thought I knew where this was going, I was wrong. When evidence was found, I knew it had to be them… To be proven wrong again. An amazing mind blowing knock your socks off book. Please say there’s going to be more.
Another impressive, mind f*ck of a read by the queen of psychological thrillers. This story took me on a breath holding, chills running down my spine adventure. Reading the story, I was positive that I knew how it was going to play out but holy wow was I wrong! Well done, Kiersten Modglin!
Whoa! What did I just read?!!! Absolutely mind blowing! This story will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. My heart is still beating hard, as this story just completely messed with my mind, but in an oh so good way. When Bryant and Harper move to a new town, they meet their neighbors but aren’t quite sure what to make of them. Are they good people? When things start to get a bit wacky, are the neighbors responsible? I don’t want to give to much away. So much happens in this story that will have you questioning everything.
