To me original and informative. Strong female character and good in sight into the historical period.
I enjoy all of her books. They are enjoyable and characters are entertaining…just enough suspense to keep you reading.
Historical novel which gives some feel for medieval Wales. Story line keeps you guessing, but the author tries a bit too hard to display vocabulary skills.
Started off pretty slow but got better.
Generally it held my interest. Light in story, but mildly entertaining.
Wow, great story set during the Middle Ages. Enjoyed the characters and the mystery. I will be reading more of Sarah Woodbury books.
I love mysteries, historical romance, and stories about other countries. This one fit the bill perfectly.
I enjoy historical fiction and found this story well written. The author takes you to the time period and takes you on a journey with the characters. Nicely done.
I also did the audio version and found it to pass the time well while I worked on other things…..like painting the dinning room. May the time fly by.
This is an historical, mystery, romance. I love the strong, intelligent female protagonist. It is full of adventure and twist and turns.
did not finish it. other books held more interest to me.
It was alright but I wasn’t that interested in the action and found myself skipping pages near the end for the mystery to be revealed. Also not much of a romance, maybe you have to read the other books in the series for that.
Part history, part mystery, part romance, part intrigue, and all captivating. Based on bare bones historical record from 12 century the author deftly turned out a fantastic story.
This book was fun to read very enjoyable with super characters. There is always just enough of a turn to keep you guessing. Loved it!
There is a surprising twist to the end. I enjoyed the story line.
U couldn’t finish it.
I really wanted to love this…a series of mysteries set in medieval Wales with a little romance thrown in. But I would probably rate it between a pick and a so-so. A plus is that this was actually based on some true historical events. And while the mystery was fine, I found the writing a bit too simplistic and the pace too slow in parts…I found …
I liked this book very much. Set in Wales 1100’s and based on historical events. Interesting storyline a murder mystery and a twist of an ending. Loved the characters! And best of all there was No explicit sex.
It was good.
Excellent time travel tale!
Love her books and her time travel story lines. Read them all!
