I have been homeschooling for more than a ten now. There have been a fortune of changes over the years as to the course of study we have used and the things we like. But, I wanted to share my experience with The Good and the Beautiful Homeschool Curriculum. This course of study is the final examination winner in my home .( This is not a paid review and I did not receive any of their course of study for release to write this post. I fair authentically love it. )
We have used so many different programs over the years, and this one, it has lasted for 4 years nowadays ! That is sincerely a criminal record for us !
About The Good and the Beautiful Homeschool Curriculum
The godhead of The Good and the Beautiful course of study is Jenny Phillips. Before she started this company, she was a musician creating beautiful faith-based songs. I used to be a part of her traveling choir years ago. I had the opportunity of getting to know her and her amaze family during those years working with her .
Jenny is an incredible woman and I greatly respect her cognition and skills. When she decided to start this course of study, I knew it would be something special. I have not been disappointed !
Jenny is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, as am I. many times, when I have seen this course of study mentioned, that has been a hindrance for people of early faiths to use this course of study. People get worry that it will not reflect their beliefs .
If that concerns you, let me tell you that when creating this course of study, Jenny used a team of people from a kind of christian denominations. There is no doctrinal slant in any commission, but I would decidedly call it a faith-based course of study. It asks about God and religion, it talks about making good choices and entreaty. It ’ sulfur focus is on all things well and beautiful, hence the name !

The Good and the Beautiful Book List
She first created her ledger list before any of the stay of the course of study. This record list is a solicitation of books that she deems good and beautiful. This means that they are clean of profanity or taking the Lord ’ sulfur appoint in bootless. They have a good message, and the characters in them are kind and respectful to their families and others .
I was sol stimulate about this book list. It is hard to know without reading every single script, what is high timbre and good for my children to read. Her number has grown and expanded over the years and is now quite big ! The dependable and the Beautiful company is even printing their own copies of certain books .
Having high timbre books for my kids to read is fabulously crucial to me. It ’ south one of the most important parts of our homeschool, so I love knowing that everything I choose from her list is of capital timbre .
What Subjects Does it Include?
The Good and the Beautiful covers Language Arts for all levels from Pre-k through High School. They have handwriting books for levels Pre-K through 7th. many of the Language arts levels are FREE to download !
There are lots of science units for elementary through middle educate grades. They have math for early elementary grades ( but are expanding each year ), and they have history for elementary and center grades. They besides have a few electives such as typing, creative writing, nature study and creative arts .
I have used closely every level of The Good and the Beautiful speech arts course of study now. Currently, I have a high schooler using the 2nd year high educate course of study. I have a daughter in level 6, a son in level 3 and a daughter in Kindergarten level .

Each subject is break, this is not an all-on-one boxed course of study. You can pick and choose what you want. ( A dainty profit ! )

We have used many of the science units and are on year two of the history program this year. My preschooler is using the mathematics platform a well. ( We used entirely the Language arts when we started using this course of study. )
The history and skill course of study is meant to be done family vogue, meaning it stands many levels of learning with adaptations for older or younger kids. I love this because it allows me to use it with respective kids at one clock .

If you can not tell, we absolutely love The Good and the Beautiful course of study !
I love the still of the program. Within the Language Arts course reserve, there is besides included geography and art. Everything is all in one easily spiral-bound book .
The course of study is quite easy to use and requires no planning advance, other than the science experiments. It is open and go, and as a busy homeschool ma, that is just what I need !
I love the odoriferous messages included in the books. There are discussion questions that are fantastic, there are beautiful works of art to discuss. The morals and values are all good what I want when teaching my children .
The books are colorful and engaging. My kids are absolutely happy ( adenine glad as kids can be ) to do their school study. It has made our solid homeschool experience easier and better overall .
It is an cheap course of study. The course of study is low in cost and you can flush get some of the levels in a downloadable PDF for free ! Homeschooling can get expensive, so it is fantastic to have something that won ’ thyroxine be excessively costly !
It is comprehensive. The course of study covers all we need anymore. The speech program is fantastic and gently teaches kids hard concepts.
