THE BEST ONE YET!
“ The God Resurrection “ is by far the best book that Kevin Tumlinson has written in The Dan Kohler Series. You wouldn’t think that this being book 11 it would be much different than the other 10, all 5 stars in my opinion. This one will surprise you. It is non-stop action from the beginning to the end. I was glued to my chair while reading it. Plus many of the questions we had been wondering about as he built this series up are finally answered. I love this series. I have read most of Mr. Tumlinson’s books from early in his career and he has done an amazing switch from Sci-Fi to writing the best thrillers I’ve read in a long time. This series is definitely worth reading and owning. Fantastic books by a fantastic author. Start it today!
The God Resurrection – a review by Rosemary Kenny
Dan Kotler and Agent Denzel are on a new case a mere 7 months after the last one ended.
This time Dan’s ex, Dr Liz Ludlum an FBI Historic Crimes agency executive, Denzel, Dan, and Agent Danielle Brown, all play important roles in progressing this nail-biting crime-thriller.
Antagonists are Dan’s grandfather (and Nemesis), Richard Kotler, and his henchman Travis Bell, (an expert MMA fighter and Parkour genius), who will stop at nothing in a bid for the ultimate power of ‘creation to order,’complete with rule over all mankind.
With references back to previous excellent adventures that Dan et al have been involved in, we learn of a (literally) world-changing plot by Richard Kotler, that reaches a dynamic outcome, where at least one of the main characters is fatally (or are they?),wounded, are played out herein for your reading pleasure.
If you want to forget your Covid-19 fears and Lockdown Blues for at least a few hours, Kevin Tumlison’s Dan Kotler is the man for you.
Grab your copy of The God Resurrection, in his A Dan Kotler Archaeological Thriller series, today and buckle up for an out-of-this-world, Star Wars meets Indiana Jones thrill, that will do all that – and so much more!
What If Ancient Gods Could Rule The World Again?
Continuing from the previous book, the Historic Crimes Division of the FBI has been reestablished with Liz Ludlum now in charge, along with an oversight committee. On that committee is billionaire Ethan Patterson. Patterson sends the team including Dan Kotler and Roland Denzel to investigate a theft at the site of the world’s oldest temple. When they arrive, a coverup by authorities is already in progress. While unable to even tell what was stolen, they determine that the missing item was left on the site in the 1990s, and involved Dan’s parents.
Most of the action this time involves a continuing struggle between the Jani, an ancient secret group who has continually worked to safeguard humanity and the offshoot Novensiles group who want to openly take control of the whole world and rule as modern day Gods. Thrust into the middle of this struggle is the Historic Crimes Division team.
I received a free beta copy to read and check for errors. I had to continually remind myself to stick with that task as I found the story too engrossing and I just wanted to keep on reading without slowing down to record minor errors. The story was highly entertaining and I fully recommend it. While it could be read on its own, I would recommend reading The Sleeper’s War first. This is my voluntary, honest review.
