Bridget Jones meets Sex and the City in this laugh-out-loud 90’s throwback series.
Book 1: Men and Martinis
Dating co-workers is strictly forbidden, but at least I know who I want. My friend Candace thinks she wants the player… but the perfect guy is right in front of her!
I moved to NYC to start again. Or really, to start at all. My father calls me impulsive, my older sister calls me … all. My father calls me impulsive, my older sister calls me immature, and my mother? Well, she doesn’t call me at all now.
So when the opportunity arose to reinvent myself amid yellow cabs, crazy parties and hot banker-types? I took it. Now I’ve got the perfect job, have found the perfect girl crew, and have the BIGGEST crush on the perfect guy.
The problem? We work together. And my company has a strict no-dating policy. Not so perfect.
And then there’s my new friend Candace. She rules the boardroom and eats tentative investors for lunch. But when it comes to her dating life? She’s a disaster.
She’s set her sights on Damon, the director of sales at my new company. But Damon? He likes to play the field. Meanwhile she might be missing out on the best opportunity for romance that’s ever come her way.
Will Candace let down her man-eater façade long enough to let him in?
And will I figure a way around my company’s antiquated no-fraternization policy?
Book Two: Highballs in the Hamptons
I have to choose between my job and my man, while my friend Lulu is engaged in class warfare.
I’m living in the fast lane, settled and happy in my new fancy life in NYC. I’ve managed to prove everyone—even myself—wrong about my tendency toward flakiness. Of course, I just might be willing to give it all up for CJ (of the washboard abs and all-American good looks). Since we work together, it’s him or my job … and without my job, rent might be a bit of an issue.
In the meantime, my friend Lulu is embroiled in the next of her long string of very serious flings. But this time it seems different. Andrew is a grownup. And a doctor.
The only sticking point? (well, besides Lulu’s tendency to run away from anything serious…) Andrew’s practically Upper East Side royalty. And Lulu? Well, she’s … loud. A little inappropriate. Has no filter whatsoever.
And Andrew’s mother (who goes by “Tippy” if you can believe it!) is not impressed.
Will Lulu be able to get past Andrew’s maternal defenses?
And how long will CJ be willing to wait for me to decide if loving him is worth risking everything I’ve just found?
Book Three: Cosmos and Commitment
A cougar from my guy’s past shows up to threaten everything. Meanwhile my friend Tamara’s got a cowboy asking her to give him a second chance…
I finally got the guy. Or I thought I did until CJ’s mentor—a cougar with way too much cleavage—tries to steal him. He says there’s nothing going on, but trust isn’t my strong suit.
Meanwhile, Tamara’s past is coming back in a big way. She left country life behind for the city, and the last thing she expected was for it to come looking for her. In the form of a big, tall, hunky cowboy.
Gage Spydell—aka Spider—Tamara’s childhood sweetheart (who wears a cowboy hat like nobody’s business and a butt made for Wranglers) has come to the big city. And she can’t figure out if she still loves him or if she still hates him. Or both.
Will CJ choose me or his cougar ex-mentor?
And will the cowboy who first won Tamara’s heart be able to win it back before it’s too late?

I thought it was great. These books were fun and funny. I always love a box set. You get a set of stories in the series all at once so you don’t have to wait at a great price. New York in the 90s couldn’t be better for Natalie with her best girlfriends, and her job. You have to love the mishaps and fun they get into. I can’t wait for more.
