Acton packed story of a girl on the run.
Characters are complex as is the story. Sometimes hard to read due to content but worth pushing forward.
Gratuitous violence, unlikable characters, Not a page turner — more of a book-put down-er.
Larson’s Books were always great reads
Yes, I read this one that started a successful trilogy of novels and films. Suspenseful, mysterious, and bizarre intrigue of a powerful family dynasty.
I really enjoyed this book. No wonder movies were made from it.
Great plot
It was okay. I don’t understand the hype, and the ending made me want to throttle someone.
Loved this series. Had to read all of them
I read this w/ my book group sometime ago. It was Not my favorite read yet glad I finished it before seeing the film. My sister in law loved every book written by this author as did most in my reading group So I think I was odd ‘man’ out!
Sally Veauta
It was, flat out, just too dark for me. I didn’t finish it.
Well written and a exciting
One of the most intriguing main characters I’ve ever read. Excellent book. Lots of twists and turns. Unpredictable.
Worth the read if you can get past the first few chapters.
Total excellence.
Realistic characters and a page turner!!
Great first book to a trilogy. All three were quick entertaining reads. Loved them all!
Very interesting book
I have read this entire series and was so sadden by the death of the author. In some ways this is a hard book, and I would suggest if you have a history of emotional or sexual abuse you may not want to read this. But I was captivated with this book and the rest of the series.
Read the whole series and loved the main character.
