Engaging story. Characters well developed.
Fabulous story. Original and impossible to put down. A must read
I am so very impressed with Stieg Larsson ~ it’s SUCH a shame he died! However, with partial manuscripts, I’m hoping we’ll be able to get stories as amazingly plotted as this one ~ the characters are compelling; the action, taut; the dialog, crisp ~ simply excellent!
I loved this book. In fact, I’ve read it more than once. It was exciting and unpredictable right to the very end. This book has something for everyone. I highly recommend it.
Read this many years ago. Was a great book with unforgettable characters and fantastic plot
Well, I kept seeing this book everywhere…so now I can see how complicated a suspense book can be. The most unlikely characters interact –but I don’t fully understand the intro until the main character, Mikael Blomkvist has solved the investigation with the help of the brilliant Lisbeth who hides her talents from most and never lets them see …
A masterpiece
Best series ever!
Excellent book
This is a classic.
A great book, but fairly difficult to read. Not only the the subject matter, but understanding the characters. You have to read it more than once to really enjoy it, or understand what is happening. It really keeps you on your toes.
The book started slowly for me, but once I got through the back story, it was a fun read with great characters.
Great series
My favorite mystery of all time. Incredible heroine and lots of action!
Be warned that this book starts rather slowly. I came close to giving up on it early. That would have been a great loss. Once it gets going it is a fantastic read. The two sequels just got better and better.
Steig set off a publishing phenomenon with this book and it’s well deserved. Original characters, especially Elizbeth Salander who takes the world as it comes and fights back against the evil that finds her. A great story.
I loved this book. It is one that I will probably read a second time at some point in the future. I liked it so much I bought it in hard cover and added it to my library. I also bought the other two books by the same author; they were worth-while reads also.
Larsen’s insight into this young woman injured by her world is interesting.
I really don’t have anything to say that someone else hasn’t already said. It’s a wonderful tale. Would we could resurrect Larson.
The first of three of what was originally planned as a series of ten before the author dropped dead of a massive heart attack. I have read the three books three times each and I still enjoy them.
