I loved this book! I like to read a book which has been adapted for film before I see the film. In this case, I had been reading about this book for months, maybe years, before the film (the original Swedish version) was released in the U.S in 2010, but the book didn’t really appeal to me or so I thought. I did see the film though with …
Couldn’t put it down. Sorry when it ended. First book in a great trilogy.
To this day I fail to see why this book was raved about by all and sundry. I expect it had more to do with the social commentary about the inequity of many of the ‘nanny state’ welfare systems and how they are abused by those in power. While Lisbeth Salander is a fascinating character, she plays a lesser role here and independent newsman …
The entire series as incredible and literally one of those “I just can’t put it down” situations.
Ha

This is a must read book. Its been out there a while but so worth reading that when I saw the option to review it I could not help myself.
Just too dark for me!
This book was well written. The characters were different. You had to think to keep up.
A real woman who is a real hero.
‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’, published in Sweden in 2005, opens with an intriguing mystery. He then teams up with the titular tattooed …
Hooked me immediately and finished it in 3 days.
Larsson does a great job of following 2 very different people on a journey to solve a very old mystery.
Well written with extreme details
Full of adventure, thrills. Great characters, twisted plot full of surprises, page turner. Couldn’t put it down.
A most original book about a tech genius that keeps you on the edge of your seat, it’s a book filled with suspense, twists and turns, with great Swedish characters that are continually surprising the reader. A book of suspense, action, and intrigue.
All books of the trilogy are worth the read, but this is the best.
