One of the most interesting and original books I’ve ever read.
Very good plot with unique characters. Some of the content was more than I like with the cursing and sexual content
Stayed up all night reading this.
One of the best crime series I’ve read. An exciting, interesting look at the dark side of our culture. Page after page of exciting action, plot twists, and surprises. Highly recommend this series. Larsen was a master storyteller.
Loved this book. Would not recommend it to very young readers or the faint hearted, but the characters and story line are spectacular. All 3 books of the series were wonderful.
Stieg Larsson brought his years of journalistic experience to his fiction writing. His characters are memorable and his situations are thought out and believable. In the second book there is a scene where he writes about a cheesecake topped with a raspberry preserve. This was a dessert I had never tasted, but it was so well written I craved it …
One the best I’ve ever read. The characters are carefully crafted. The story is gritty, often dark, but superbly written. It’s crime and mystery and different times colliding and hints of messy romantic entanglements. Excellent series!
AHHHHH you cannot put this one down and it’s only the beginning of the trilogy. I have to admit I had to be coaxed into reading it and it took me to about page 70 before it really hooked me in but once I was there, there was no going back. I doubt there are many people out there that haven’t read this by now but if there are, run, don’t walk and …
Enjoyed each book in the series. The depths of greed and evil brings to light the nature of some. I love that Lizbeth has a more realistic code of honor than that which is in the dictionary.
Not a book I would recommend. Boring and monotonous.
I had to ignore all the hard to pronounce names a just get lost in the story! Great read
I own all three books in this series and enjoyed them immensely
Loved it, very good
A great read once one gets a grip on the foreign characters’ names.
Great series which held my attention.
I believe there were three of these books. I read all of them!
Really enjoyed the book. One of the ones I read on most of the night.
I loved this series and the movies as well. Well written and keeps you involved.
I loved this whole series. You get captured right away with the characters, and simply cannot wait to see what is going to happen next.
Difficult read for me. Friends and coworkers loved it, but I just couldn’t get into it.
