The beginning of the book is slow but hang in there and you’ll be hooked not only on this book but the series.
Great book
Maybe over-written in parts and a bit lengthy overall, but this novel is worth a high rating because of its originality and its role in greatly heightening interest in Scandanavian mysteries/thrillers. Hooks you on all the sequels.
Tough read and first and then it gets better, couldn’t put it down.
good book!
A 1st novel!!?? Stunning. And the series is just as good.
One of the best books I’ve read in the past ten years.
All I will say is read them all!
I read the whole series and saw the movie in sub title boring at first but got right into it
Love it and all the series!
Emotionally tortured characters, fascinating plots and sub-plots made for great reading. As soon as I thought I figured it out, I didn’t!
Interesting plot line.
Totally immersed from the first page until the last page of the 3rd book!
Intriguing
Fantastic book with very original storyline and odd yet fascinating main character. Great read.
Hard to put this book down.
Great read but intense
A twisted story that is disturbingly believable. Hard to put it down.
Awesome book! Great writing, characters, and plot. The next two are just as good!
Read the series and loved them all. RIP Steig.
