This book is very dense. The first 100 pages were hard for me to get through, mainly due to the intense political, financial and familial detail. Some may argue that it sets the scene, but after completing the book, I am convinced that the book could have been half as long and still be an exciting and entertaining read.
Of the two stories in the …
A real thriller. Exciting twists and turns, an incrediblestort, keeps you turning the pages and wanting to read more!
The entire trilogy was just an amazing read. Characters so plumped out that you begin to feel as if they are real and you cannot wait to see what happens next.
It definitely kept you in suspense the whole time you are reading this book.
Some parts are too graphic
Number one of a great series.
This entire series, the 3 written by Larsson, is absolutely excellent. This is the best of the series. The characters are extremely real, the story original and the writing is top notch. I could barely put these books down. Unfortunately, the ones written after Larsson’s death are just not up par at all.
This series of books is among my all time favorites. So many twists and turns. It is very unique in the story plots and writing. I have reread these three books several times. There is just so much to take in as I read along and simply could not wait to see what happens next.
Intriguing. One of the best books I have read
I found it disappointing that the title of this book was changed from the original “Men Who Hate Women.” Frankly I couldn’t finish it. Nothing happens. The main character wanders around this island drinking tea and having sex with a few women.
I have read all of the books/. I enjoyed all of them..
A classic. Great read; the whole trilogy is teriffic.
Great characters
Doesn’t get better. If you haven’t heard of it you’ve just arrived from Andromeda and don’t speak the language. It is great.
Lisabeth Salander is unique and amazing
Amazing 1st book in a series. Draws you in.
Much better than the film adaptation.
