Brilliant trilogy!
I have read this book and its sequels. I am unable to separate the books in my memories but this was a different world and the main character finally exacted perfect revenge.
All I could think when I read the final book was how terrible it was that the author was dead. I still have not read the new author’s book that the publisher selected …
Loved it
The character is unique and worth reading. The author is just ok.
Great book, great trilogy. Highly recommend!!
I thoroughly enjoyed all three parts of this series.
Hang in there, slow start but gets really good
Very good, but I had to really pay attention to what was going on !. Difficult vocabulary a lot of the time.
I’ve read the entire series, utterly fantastic. It’s sad we lost the author before more could be written
While I know this author has passed away, what a legacy he left us. I found out so much about how his country was run, how the society there worked and added into that mix was a whopper of a mystery.
This is a unpredictable page tuner, that I had a hard time putting down. The book was better than the film, and I will probably read it again at some point!
Great opening book to a fantastic trilogy.
Long and boring
Different but interesting
Excellent plot development!
The movie did not do this book justice. Stieg Larsson is a master of the twisted life. I couldn’t put this book down. Read it cover to cover in three days while still working full-time.
Lisabeth is a great character.
The first of three books by this author that starts rather slowly, but builds to a surprising plot filled with exciting characters and life-threatening challenges. It sets the stage for the author’s next two books which move more quickly and have more exciting and complex plots with more well developed characters that ear empathy from the reader.
One of the most original books I ever read. I am so sad that this author has died. Wonderful talent!
Amazing read!!! Can’t wait to read the rest
