Excellent writing! There was a heroine and hero who were strong characters in spite of what fate brought to them. Good story and ending that justified to the positive for the heroine.
I could not get into this book! I read almost half and stopped, did not like the characters, the story, nothing! Sorry.
Stieg Larsson tells a haunting tale of Lisbeth Salander, a young woman who would is both strange and brilliant. She is a hacker who values privacy to the point of obsession. The twist is that she works for a company that does background investigations on individuals her employer is hired to investigate.
Mikael Blomkvist is a Swedish reporter who …
Wasn’t sure if I liked the main character but she kind of grows on you. A good suspense novel and the other books in the series are good also, although I liked the final one, finished by another author, the best.
This book was one that took me out of my comfort zone; it deals with some very intense issues that could be triggers for some people. It did have some very graphic passages that were really shocking and horrific. The main character, Elizabeth Salender, overcame some of the biggest roadblocks thrown her way and has a mental toughness to be envied. …
Great story. Original characters
was great. the characters interesting. i could identify with her and wanted the same revenge.
I read it so long ago, I really don’t remember it very well.
Loved it!
Very weird and not what I expected. Will not read rest of series
This book took me a while to get going biut later it was one of my very favorite books. The characters are very unique. There are two more in the seriies completely written be Larssen and a final book started by him and finished by another write. It saddens me greatly that there will be no more.
This book takes some time to weed through all the names in the beginning….but it’s well worth the wait. The action and intricate characters that weave this tale are exciting, mysterious and bold. I highly recommend this series…you won’t be disappointed.
The story took a some time to introduce the characters and set up the plot, but once it got going, wow, what a ride. This turned out to be a phenomenal reading experience. The story was intriguing, the characters were interesting, and the girl with the dragon tattoo was amazing. One of the best thrillers ever. The second in the series was just …
This whole series is amazing. BUT, my goodness the first almost 100 pages of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo draggeeddd. Once you get past that, I promise you that the twists and turns will make it hard to put the book down. I’ll admit the names get a bit confusing, but it’s worth it all in the end. I’ve reread them all and will continue to do …
If you can get past the first 50 pages then you will love it!
I read this series by the original author, Stieg Larsson, and couldn’t get enough of this series. Unfortunately, he died prior to releasing any of the further books for the series and the story has been taken up by his son. I haven’t read them yet but I’ll let you know if they’re as good as the original ones, which would be really making a …
Not for the faint of heart. Wonderful lead character who overcomes adversities with a vengeance. Will miss reading more by Stieg Larssen!
Loved this book
Definite page turner with bold rich characters. Could not put it down!
I recommend the entire series. Stieg Larsson left us way too soon.
