Love all these books
I thought this book was just terrific. Why is it so many amazing writers and entertainers die too young? We should treasure the few books we have by this amazing literary talent
This whole set of books are probably some of my Favorite reads. I highly recommend the whole set.
One of the greatest mystery, thriller writers of all time. Got me hooked from the beginning, wish he had written 100 books, instead of just the 3.
Scandinavian mystery writers are among the best in the world.
I am so totally uninterested in the world of high finance, I really thought I would hate this book. Finance to me is all about my checking account having money in it and credit cards I can pay off each time the bill comes due. The first couple of chapters surely did not grab me. Then somehow it changed. I couldn’t put the book down. I probably …
I am addicted to the whole series! Stieg Larson was a wonderful writer and this book will hold you in it’s thrall right from the start. It is dark and disturbing but wonderful at the same time. Don’t miss this book and it’s sequels.
The heroine is an ass-kicking, take no-prisoners dynamo who takes revenge on the inhumane bastards that ruined her life. We could use more books like that.
This is well a well-plotted mystery well worth the read. It’s too bad the author has passed away. I’ve read all three of his novels and enjoyed all of them.
This is my favorite type of mystery…taut, twisting, with sharp, gripping characters and a plot that keeps you wondering. This author was brilliant and creative and I wish he had lived longer. The sequels by his successor, while dark, will lack his wit and cleverness. Enjoy this one more than once, you will discover hidden gems!
Loved them all!
Great characters, and great writing. I read the 3 books in the trilogy, loved them all.
This was a book club book years ago. I didn’t particularly like this book, mainly because I wasn’t overly fond of the characters. I’d recommend it solely because I was one of the few in my book club that didn’t care for it. In my opinion it was meh.
I absolutely loved this book. It was one you can not put down. I stayed up much too late reading this book.
Best in series
The girl was damaged by early life abuse, but became a strong woman. The story moved right along with well developed characters and a strong storyline. Read all 3 books. They are marvelous.
Excellent writing…keeps the imagination going.
This book was a little hard to get into in the beginning as it was a little dry and I had no idea how to read the Swedish words. However, once I got further into the book, I really enjoyed it. It was sad, suspenseful and kept me hooked until the end.
Great
Gets a little bogged down at times
It took awhile to get into it but then I couldn’t put it down!
